Default Best raid dps class for players with 300ping?

I currently reside in Aus, I have normally 280-320 ping all the time.

I have a p8 warrior, however, due to macro lag, I do the same damage as a warrior with only a 44.2 dps weapon compared to my r8 weapon with all t1 sword/2h weapon dps maxed, about 1.7k. Yes, its terrible, and this is with warrior's best pve spec the 38 para.

So i'm deciding with a cleric or a mage maybe a rogue due to their casting times, lessening the terrible dps due to ping.

Anyone care to give opinions? :3

MM probably. Cleric has simple rotations in ranged and have a bit of instances as well.

Turn on full ability queues and see if that helps. Also, are you missing? You said raiding and full P8 . . . you have enough hit?

Yeah, I don't turn on ability queues at all and have around 350 hit.
I have the epic hk helm, gloves and belt and the rest are p8 with the synergy crystal for the extra hp.

If you don't use ability queues at all it means you can't hit an ability until the GCD is done from the last one. If you put it on short it means you can hit your next ability half way through the global cool down and that one will go immediately after the previous GCD is done, and if you put it on full you have your whole GCD.

If you have it set on none I wonder if it's just the delay between your abilities that causing you to lose DPS.

I normally spam my unmacro-ed power strike and proc-rw into sli + fiery burst + offgcd macro.

I find that the long ability queues and short ability queues sometimes make me fail 3 rws in 1 sli.

Why not parse on the dummy with it on off and then on short and at least see if it's the problem. It may not be. I'm not sure if you need to log out and in for it to take effect, so just make sure it's actually working before you run through the whole parse.

I def. do not recommend mage if you have a laggy connection...

Dot Management, charge toggling, and all that good stuff require pretty precise timing and a lag delay could destroy your whole rotation (and as a result, your dps)
Doesn't matter what is put here, someone is going to @#%^& about it, regardless of what it is.

I'm from South Africa and get around 200ms to the European servers.

The 200ms doesn't affect my DPS as a Warrior at all. I out DPS Warriors with better gear then me all the time. Maybe the extra 80ms-120ms makes a difference? I doubt it though.

I used to be a Warrior like you...but then I took a nerf to my spec.

Its the clipping of abilities, also, with short ability queues, when I use rising waterfall, most Australian players are unable to determine whether did RW generate 2 CP or 1CP, causing you to lose a rw proc if you hit power strike.

When I use no ability queues, I have a stronger control, however, the real time distance between the mob and me may cause me to lose hits even when the animation goes off.

I am steady between 165 and 185ms and do well as a rogue. Just practice your builds on the dummy and know your stuff and you'll beat out half the same or better geared people that only know how to find a build if someone posts it for them on the forums
