Do competent tanks prefer clerics or 51 chloros for t2 runs?

Depends on how geared the tank is...

As a cleric, I currently carry 2 different icar specs and 2 different main heal specs. I tend to switch between them as I see fit when main healing a dungeon.
It really depends on the encounter and the gear of the tank.

The only time I prefer one over the other is when the strategy calls for AOE cleansing, then I want a cleric. When I'm in a raid, I try to get a chloro and a cleric on the tank for healing.

For AOE heals: As a 51 chloro it really help to dynamically switch between lifegiving veil and lifebound veil-- makes a huge difference in some of the AOE damage intensive t2s..

Agree that I would LOVE to have an AOE cleanse!!

chloros... thats not because clerics are bad or underpowered or anything yadda yadda.
its that chloros deal actual DAMAGE and clerics deal none.

Im a justicar, ive gone into some dungeons and told the cleric to do aoe spec and told the rogue to bard.
i dont need that much healing.
