Recent discoveries show that a spell protected many Ethians from the Convocation, but turned them into Enkarus. They're too dangerous to live, but killing them one at a time is inefficient. I've created the Soul Sphere to speed up the process.
I think to have missed all of these quests in the Droughtlands when last I went through it.
Enkari weren't protected. I think it's just that they were inside the radius of soul removal, but outside the radius of total destruction.
