So, I was reading about Eth history and came to this quote on the Eth page.

Upon exposure to small amounts of refined sourcestone, the plate unfolded into a series of free-floating rings that spun in midair and spoke our people’s history, thus:

Does it have a name? I think it's an interesting artifact and hate to call it "that spinning circle thing"

That's a very cool name. Where did you read that? Is it a rift based word like so many other made up terms or is it actually an english word that is not well known.

For instance.. I thought Eldritch was a word they made up for the game, until I saw it in another book and looked it up.

In school Though it wasn't in English language and I didn't remember the exact name of the device anyway, so I googled/wikied astronomical instruments till I found it.
