It also doesnt really get rid of Regulos either. Hes still stalking in the wings. Id actually expect Crucia to be trying at this point to figure out how she can deal with Regulos since now all her other brothers and sisters are gone and its just her and him.

Would she try and devert our attention to Regulos or will she try to take us over quickly before Regulos can get involved so she can use us as weapons against Regulos? Or does she have some other grand plan?

And maelforge dealt with crucia himself?? is she still against us?? or maybe working with the Vigil? I'm not 100% up on lore so I am probably wrong

Do you remember what the fortune teller at the carnival said? Something about the one pulling your strings. Not you but the ones who raised you or something.. seemed to be referring to the Vigil as being puppets.
