They're Kira! Uriel!
Yes, Kira! Uriel!
One is a genius
The other's heartless!
One came back from the dead
The other death obsessed
They're Kira! Uriel, el, el, el, el, el, el, el, el!
I have too much free time at work these days....*taps desk waiting for editors to finish*
Funny I always just assumed they were friends. It would be nice if a lesbian relationship like this were text rather than subtext for once, and it doesn't strike me as too 'fan service'.
BLIZZARD: First off, it's important that everyone remembers that feedback needs to remain constructive... using profanity in your posts, no matter how strongly you may feel about something, is not appropriate.
TRION: If something ****ing pisses someone off to the point of ****ing smashing their ****ing keyboard – Hearing it in those words, helps.
Yes. They are gay. I'm not sure they know that they are though
and I gotta say some of the comments in this topic strike me as being somewhat rude - this should really not be a big deal I was just curious
They always just struck me as being two very close individuals with nothing romantic going on. Haven't seen anything ingame that would push it beyond that.
Probably the most accurate description of RPGs ever (thankfully plenty of exceptions). The fantasy RPG genre is marketed to socially awkward teenage boys. OF COURSE two female characters cannot have a relationship without being a lesbian couple. Anything else would just confuse them.

I think that is pretty clearly the consensus though. You can edit it however the heck you want but it will get changed back because the things you are saying are crazy and the things it is saying currently makes sense to most of the people who read it.
and I dunno what you are talking about. what RPGs have lesbians? I cannot think of a single popular RPG that has an openly gay female couple. I am sure I am missing some but to act like it is normal is silly.
Did I miss anything?
No matter how dark the night, morning always comes. And our journey begins anew...
Obviously, the lore writers have left out any confirmation of such a relationship, and I agree with that decision. It leaves it to the reader to decide for themselves, after learning as much as they can about the lore regarding the two of them.
That's the best kind of lore-- where your own imagination fills in the blanks.
It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a grue.

Just some random person's imagination maybe? Check out missdoomcookie's reply.
Beyond that, it's two women holding hands. Half (or more) my female friends are lesbians if that's a romantic thing. Not saying Kira/Uriel aren't in the end, just saying that I've neither seen nor read anything that takes them beyond close friends, everything that takes them further is basically fan speculation.

What I'm really surprised about is that nobody picked up on the forbidden romance between Asha and Joseph the Mystic.
