Default The most frustrated zone event!

    What is your list?

    This is mine:
Raising Kain - high death and high failure. Always fail at progress 70%. comment: wasting time and traveling expenses, mend soul fee. THIS ONE IS ON MY BLACK LIST

Those elements are considering frustration factors by me:
    1. The progress has too much phases
    2. Elite small boss too much and spread out over all the zone
    3. The mob is overly powerful. one or two shot kill a player with good gear
    4. The mob has irresistible spell or magic attack
    5. Do it like falling into a trap by the design of the devs
    6. Death must be one or twice for exchanging the victory

Rarely had a problem with it. The only thing that really bugs me is the shield some of the invasion mobs have, making it a real pain in the *** for rogues and warriors.

Also minis are totally optional. Mechanics on Kain are not that hard, just get out of range when he does his big attacks... it's totally basic stuff.

I have absolutely no idea what you meant with your last 3 points, I'm guessing English isn't your first language though.

A Caravan from Hull Breach Shoals is Awaiting a Protective Escort!

While no things can attack it anyway cause everyone is camping the invasion spawn points to get credit while the people that follow the instructions get no credit at all. Plus it takes for fricken EVER!

    This.

Dunno what you mean about Raising Kain, it's a rather standard zone invasion and I've never seen it even close to failing.

Ha ha amen, this zone event takes way too long. On the opposite end of the spectrum is the new swarms event, that either fails or succeeds in 5 minutes, before many people can even get there.

This. I hate that damn zone event.

I do love both Summer Swarms and Unlikely Alliances but it can be frustrating because they can literally fail within minutes if people don't get there fast enough.

What do you guys think about the two new ones in Ember Isle? I got to do a little of Island Storm the other night but we didn't have enough people on to complete it.

    BTW, Raising Kain is awesome.

The death one is pretty awesome, I always like world bosses that actually have the ability to kill people.

I think it's the death that auto destructs when it dies? I love it. So entertaining to see people get killed on it.

Scourge of the Sands (the caravan one) is the worst by far.

The Blight could be made more tolerable if they changed it so you can carry multiple Shadestones like they did with Eye for an Eye (which rivaled SotS prior adjustment, especially if it rolled at 6am).

Raising Kain is pretty easy except for one thing: Mathosian Crones. If you have no means to dispel the reflecting damage buff, they easily outdamage my reaver/riftblade/paladin build by literally killing myself through BoEA and SS. Part of me is of the mind the ability (Warlock Armor, I think?) is actually bugged on them to do the obscene damage it does.

There are others that, while not hard, perhaps drag on a bit too long. Something like Waves of Madness can need 14 water rifts, for example. While rifts aren't hard to do, if it's a zone like Shimmersand and they're all on the east side, everyone kinda adopts the "somebody else will close them" mindset and too often it's just me doing it. And water rifts can suck with scripting prolonging their uptime (Stupid golem in a barrier).

Still have too many mid-level events I need credits on, but they never pop.

Waves of Madness just because of those damned "Protect the Soldiers/Priest of Hammerknell!" Rifts take like five minutes each. Scourge is also bad, but Brown Kyloe and Sand-covered set is a good enough incentive for me.

While i admit that i dont like the caravan one, the one in IPP is far worse... 'We must protect the Bulwarks' yelled every 3 seconds for 30 minutes gets really old really quickly.

I've also got to the stage where any of the EI events apart from the 2 new ones are an instant turn-off. They take far too long for them to be spammed as often as they are with so little variation. Particularly since half the server lets 6 people do them then all port in to tap the boss for full rewards - its time to reward people in stages rather than all at the end.

This one though it could be a bit more exciting if mini bosses have a chance to spawn on the caravan while you are escorting it.

First time boss blew up in new EI-event, ending up with at least 50 dead people, i laughed my *** off, that was awesome really, i wish all events was able to kill players so that you actually had to use your brain every now and then.

Hate list, is the cow event. So boring that i rarely go to them anymore. The time you have to put in to that event, and the rewards you get out from it is just not equal, so not worth my time.

Caravans are just plain not fun; due to those inconsiderate folks doing the spawn camps of course, slowing the event down, just so they can get more credit - aggressive = yes, inconsiderate of the whole event participant raid = YES.

Any of those events in Ember - like the Bazaar defenses, where the 3 or 4 folks like to run way out where the incoming mobs will path, and get to them "FIRST", and usuallly kill many before they even get close to the Bazaaars - again see above......especially INCONSIDERATE.

Events are for all the people, not just the few of you who think you are too special to stay with the crowd and do it TOGETHER.

We all like and need the ISS, and the exp, you are not that special to have to go get it before the masses.

Otherwise, Im not really bored with any of the Events per se.
