    Moonshade -

    Sit on the island in the one lake (SE section) and wait. The re-spawn is pretty short for the one on the island. Perhaps 1-2 minutes.

    [Beachcombing for the Discerning Vacationist] Is going to kill me too. 3 hours last night 4 hours tonight and I'm at 16/25 there are anywhere from none to 5 players trying to do this most i think gave up... I started with this one because I was in Shimmersand to turn in a Survivalists cook daily. please fix the respawn/spawn rates.

    and the first series would have been nice to get two players done in a short amount of time but I say B$ to that one even if you knew where everything was...

    The last one respawned 3 boglings within 5 minutes of each other so if you prefer to slack and camp one spot, i recommend that one

    So does anyone have any good coordinates for Shimmer? I've seen several maps put up, but I've camped 3 different spots on 2 different maps, and even after 10 minutes on each spot ... nothing.

    The only one I've found is at 6890,6310 in shimmer. After 3 hours... =D

    Shimmersand. Behind Hullbreach, and inside the wrecked ship 6188, 6638. I haven't found anything else in Hullbreach. 6491, 6379 is one just in the water next to the small dot of land behind the Flatyard. 6498, 6297 that island has at least two. I don't know where else exactly I found the rest of the six, but it was on some island behind the Flatyard.

    very annoying quest - I kinda hoped Summerfast quests will be fun. Its not like that at all

    Summerfest have MOST ANNOYING and STUPID quests ever in any mmo. One wonder if devs even play their own game....

    Well, they seem to have done a "stealth fix" for the bonus daily with the Corgie. Before I'd have to spawn and despawn the stupid thing like 2 to 10 times for it to count. Over the past 2 days, that seems to update on the first try now.

    Hopefully Trion will fix the spawn rates on Shimmer and Moonshade and Scarlet Gorge.

    This would probably be faster for me if I was grouped, you know. They are quest items after all. Some of you were grouped right? When they grab one and get credit, you're supposed to as well, I believe.

    I just tried to get a group with one person, but they said they hunted enough and were going to get off. Ok, perfectly fair. They told me we had to be in range for the quest items looted to credit. I don't know, because... well.... does the instant adventure quests credit across the zone?

    They also told me they tried group with someone, and they blew them off kind of. Seemed like they got ragy and chewed them to leave or something. If they were staying in the same area (in range for hours), at least, one could loot and both get credit, then other loot a different spawn and both get credit. Like in the gorge yeah? Yet a lot of people I heard are like "mine.. rawr" if a cave spawns two ore or something. Trion fixing it will just fix the pace you, and you get to turn it in. Like yay, good for that. :| Thank you, Trion. No really, thank you.

    There are a few somewhat, uh, fairly regular, uh, could be consistent, uh, spawn points on the Northern Beaches from the Droughtlands/SS Raptor channel area westward, cross the water thru the bandit (?) camp; I found nothing to speak of further west towards the elites; the raptor channel has a couple spawn areas that seem fairly regular too.

    I did this thing for tooooooo many hours, and observed a few things:

    - too many people running and firing their icon, not stopping to see whats up after the fact - I actually came behind one person and fired my icon again and got a treasure between rocks right where that person fired theirs;

    - stop , fire it, if your toon doesn't move at time of firing, then inch forward a bit, and see if treasure mound spawns before rushing off;

    - stopping and firing the icon, has a far reach and will turn your toon towards a spawnpoint if one exists within range, inch forward to see if there is a delay from system/server or the spawn timer, and fire again if not seeing anything from being turned, you will find the mound in that direction.
