Telara Dog and Pony Show Part 2

Does anyone know where I can find this world event quest for the Defiant's side? It's the Horse Racing quest that's repeatable if you have the Ascend a Friend Mount?

I've been all over Freemarch and can't seem to locate it on my own

im not in game, and im terrible with directions, so please forgive me if im not entirely accurate

directly outside of meridian there are 2 roads, one short one, that goes east/west, and a long one that goes north/south, get on the long one, and head south just past meridian, and you should find him, hes pretty much right outside the bahmi/hut area outside of meridian, on the main road

you may need to go up or down the road a few meters because this is all from memory

I asked in game a few days ago, and was told it's not available until phase 2 of the world event.

The second part of this quest in FREEMARCH is literally right outside Meridian. If you run down the stairs of meridian, keep running in a straight line towards the road, then turn right. There's a man standing nearby an archway. Basically the quest is run to each checkpoint and the blue spheres along the way give your mount a speed buff. That's it. I've been doing it for a few days now and phase 2 of the event hasn't started yet.

These directions are spot on, just head of out Meridian and go in a straight line from the exit

Exact co-ordinates are 6338, 5345 if not sure about working them out, a picture is worth a thousand words

Guardians can also do this quest if you need an extra bracelet, i'll assume Defiants can also go to Argent Glade and do the Guardian one, although the NPC is inside the town a bit
