Golden Maw rifts

Hello fellow rifters,

I have a question concerning the world event rifts. Ever since the event started, fire and earth rifts began to flood Telara. This was very fun, because I could participate in the event while being lower level. But now the event is done, and the rifts are still there.

I'm a completionist, I love to finish every (or almost every) zone achievement before I go to the next one. But I have REALLY hard time completing the rift zone achievements, like for example closing X rifts of various types in a given zone. Those rifts are not there. Everything is Fire or Earth every time I log in. When should those rifts disappear in favor for the zone specific rifts? If ever? The world event is done, so I was ceratin the event rifts will go away too.

I'm sorry if this is a noobish question, I play Rift since 2 months maybe (taking my time, I like to play slowly through the entire content) so I don't have much experience yet. But I'm loving it!

Yeah they really should be gone by now... maybe in a hotfix this or next week?

I would hate to wait until 1.9 for them to change this, as it may be another 1-1.5 months from now...

I've noticed that the rift events stopped happening on lower level (1-40) zones (at least on my shard). This seemed to happen when the Golden Maw event finished. I'm getting tired of only seeing The Ravenous Maw and Red Dawn rifts in every zone I go to.

Yea; trying to finish Stonefield rifts by using Earth Lures (done all the ones that seem to be Death) and all I'm getting are Gold Hunt and The Ravenous Maw. :<

I've noticed they rotate based on which dragon is in focus. So maybe we'll get some air ones coming up soon.

I too am trying to complete all the planar achieves, which is a PITA when every other event is Golden Embers, regardless of the zone.

Ugh, enough already. Let us play the regular game between world events.
