Scarlet Gorge Fire Invasions Missing?

There are quite a few "rare" invasions that almost never seem to happen anymore.

Most of the Scarlet Gorge invasions are rare simply because very few folks ever want to be in that zone.

Any Fire invasions in Scarlet Gorge
Any Fire invasions in Gloamwood
Certain Death invasions in Scarwood Reach
Certain Air invasions in Shimmersand
Certain Death invasions in Freemarch
Certain Earth invasions in Drougtlands

The list goes on. They are all nearly on existent on my server. And to be honest, im fairly sure the reason is the continued spawning of "event invasions" taking their place or screwing up the RNG factor. A great example is "The Blight" invasions which are 90% of what you see in a few zones these days, especially gloamwood. The waves of madness are crazy commonplace as well. And dont even get me started on the old death invasions from the RoS event.

Quite simply anyone going for achievements is having to get lucky as hell to knock them out.

How long do these threads have to be before you give us even a flippin answer that you are even aware of this issue or are looking into it. If you cant tell yes I am frustrated that you haven't given us ANYTHING but you cater to most other whining pretty fast. After all the name of the game is RIFT.

These threads have been here for months now I know Trion must have read them 10 times by now but still just ignore a HUGE percent of their playerbase, the casuals. Our money is the same as the raiding group which correct me if im wrong is only 5% IF THAT of the entire playerbase. This lack of response or fixes really make me want to cancel my sub. You make 15 million dollars a month hire some people who can actually do something to make your game better.

But seriously... they may of seen it but Trion, as good as they listen at times..... seems to focus on 1 aspect or area of the game at a time to the exclusion of most others. They need a larger staff or something.

Been keeping a very close eye lately and seen every invasion (not counting FM and SF) other than the ones for the achievements..

SW - Intoxicated
GW - Burn Notice
SG - Ashes to Ashes/Kiss of the Flame

Don't think those 3 have been up in months.

Seen each of the first two in the past ~3 weeks on Byriel. Intoxicated was actually completed, and I got my achievement for that! The Burn Notice invasion failed miserably, as it was like 5a server time and hardly anybody was on. Fortunately, I already have that achievement.



Still no sign of the dual fire-invasion one in Scarlet Gorge, though.

They can implement things like sweeping changes/nerfs to classes in a hotfix, but can't fix a problem which has been constantly reported by myself and countless others both in-game and on the forums since 1.2.

One of my characters has recently been working Scarlet Gorge and yes, there have been fire rifts and fire events. The latest one was yesterday afternoon shard time - I think around 2-3pm but could be off.

I'm usually playing during shard daytime in the afternoons and yes, I have seen life, fire and death rifts as well as fire events and life events and one death event.

However, since the change of different types of events, I don't see the fire events as often as when my first character went though SG.

Agreed. The RNG on these achievements was a pain enough as it was months ago and it's even worse now. I'm still 7/9, missing the same three invasions I have been for months and I just don't care any more. Just gonna get my Arson's Brew and Fearsome Mask to complete my artifact sets, then knock off the last footholds for every other planar achievement then I'm done with it. Those zone invasions are just not going to spawn and if they do, I don't care. It was fun back then when the dynamic events had a ton of appeal but it has severely decayed since then.

This fix is very low in their agenda, if not completely out. Stop asking, the game is going elsewhere: instances.

You know if they came out and said

"These invasions are WAI, they are supposed to be rarer than rare pie with a rare coating of rare sprinkles, we have gone through data and seen that these invasions have spawned an average of x times on shards and continue to be WAI".

I would be happy, I love rare, I am just very uneasy with broken and more so with silence.
