    Default Text:SetFont(source, font) Is now broken

    Text:SetFont(source, font) no longer functions.

    Anyone know of any way around this / change to this?

    That's not good news. What happens when you use it? Is there an error, or does nothing happen?

    no it just unsets the font whenever the text changes

    Hmm, that might explain some weirdness I noticed in SuperMeter earlier today.

    I totally came up with a fix for this before the holidays, then decided to push it up to stable after holidays just in case it broke something. Then, by the time the holidays were over, I'd forgotten about it. Whoops.

    Fix should be in within a patch or two. Thanks for bumping the thread, Credo

    If this "Fix" was part of 2.1 hotfix #4 this morning, it may have broken several addons:

    Didn't say anything in the patch notes about it, so unsure what's going on...

    Usually the addon patch notes end up separate - it looks like now it's resetting color instead of font. Sigh.

    Workin' on a fix, sorry for the weirdness.

    Initial testing shows Frame:SetText("blah") will change the font color. As I don't use Frame:SetFont(), I would assume one of two things. SetText internally uses SetFont or SetFont internally uses SetText.

    Also, it would seem that it only happens under certain conditions. For example, Castbar text is screwed in Add-Watch, but the actual HP bar text isn't. I'm still trying to pin-point the difference in creation and update methods.

    Let me know when this is fixed please. I can't play Rift and see my work so horrid and not be able to "fix" it.

    Only effects more dynamic frames. For example, static menu options in KBM are not effected. Things that are only set once are not effected.

    To Add to the above:

    You'd probably have to SetFontSize() too, and possibly more. And I'm not convinced that doing more than one would result in the SetColor() having to be done last or with each command.
