I really love this addon. The only thing I drastically miss is the different types of cast bars that rift introduced recently.

In PVE, an interruptable spell is a blue cast bar, whereas a non-interruptable spell is this golden cast bar. Would it be possible to have this introduced into NKT? Either through a status option or a different color option?

Actually the coloring should be this way. I'll have to check if there's a bug then.

i love this add on as well, the only issue I have well I have 2. No frame for the person im targetting, would like to see a 3d version of them. And the other is kind of simple, the buffs and debuffs, timers are kind of out of place, anyway to use the default style buffs or something?

I'm not sure what you mean exactly here, there is a frame for Player's Target, that is the person that your targeting. As for a 3D version of them, I'm almost positive this won't ever be possible through an addon.

As for Buff/Debuff timers I half to agree, they do feel a bit out of place. I would like to be able to adjust the timer size independently from the icon size. Being able to move the timer would be great as well, maybe set it up the same way you did for positioning the buffs. Though I would also add an option to have the timers on top of the icons. My best suggestion here is to add a black background to the timers frame with like 0.2 alpha. This way you have the needed contrast without obscuring the icon.

Was leveling up a alt, I noticed that when you level the player unit frame doesn't update level. Reloadui fixes it but seems like that should update on its own.

new: added option to choose stack counter color (default white)
new: if buffs/debuff counter is shown on top of icon stack counter will be sized to remaining space

One thing that I noticed is that when you place the counter on the buff/debuff icon, it makes the timers background slightly visible. The only issue here though it that it only covers part of the icon and not the entire icon.

If this could be disabled or set to cover the entire icon I think that would be better.

A few other things that would be great:
I would love to be able to change the alpha level on a per frame basis instead of all or nothing as it is now.
Ability to position each bar as I wish to any other bar (i.e. inside/outside top/bottom). The main reason for this is so I can move the cast bar to the top and attack the header bar inside/top of the HP bar.

For the settings layout a double tab design might be better at this point as well. By this I mean create a second set of tabs inside each units options. These tabs would be for each item that is part of the frame, such as the HP bar, cast bar, and buffs. This would give you a lot more room for additional settings in the future.

    *Edit*
One other thing I noticed is that it will not allow me to add |mark| to any bar other than the header.

That's working as itended. Otherwise for small icon sizes and some color combinations the timers would be unreadable.

This is something you can expect to return at some point. It's not very high on the priority list though.

This is not going to happen unless somebody else goes into the code and does it. The frames do exactely what I wanted them to do for my personal use. So everything on top is just extra work for me ;)

Anything which ican be done easily will always find it's way into the addon sooner or later. However the free positioning of the bars means so much cross-checking of anchors I can see myself working on it for a whole day and that time I'm not willing to invest.

Hmmm I'll have to look into this. All tags should work indendent of what bar you put them on.

    Cheers

Just released the first release candidate of Version 1.4.0. This one is big update. You can download it at curseforge using this link: click me

Please note this is a BETA release and needs more testing. If you're easily offended by error messages, please wait till the release version is ready.

    Now with group frames

The addon now feature group frames, group target frames and group pet frames. The standard configuration is somewhat lacking as it uses the default setting, but can easily be customized through the configuration.

    Now support raid frames

The addon now features raid frames. If the player enters a raid nkThings will automatically switch to raid frames. Please note that leaving a raid and joining a group will leave the raid frames active. This is a known issue with need of an API change for solving.

The raid frames will definitely look odd with default settings. However you can easily change the look in the configuration.

    Now supports maintank targets

You can now set up to three maintank targets. These are individually programmed targets which are aiming at helping the raiders out there. Simply target a player and either use the new menu option in the nkButton or the command /nkt set mt# (where # is 1-3) to assign the current target as a maintank target.

Simply repeat the same with no target selected and the maintank target will be cleared.

For each maintank target the target of the target will be displayed. As a maintank healer this feature will make your live much easier with multiple tanks. As a DD you'll just love this feature as you can take over the maintank's target by a click of a button.

Please note that /reloadui will clear the maintank targets. This is a known issue. Also you cannot assign maintank targets while in combat.

    Cheers
