Really? That would be awesome if Trion hotfixed them into patch 1.8, and if Trion was intending any addon API, leave that for the original planned release date. In other words, split the existence of nameplates from the API, and give users the former sooner, with the latter later.

Agreed, very nice.

If we can retrieve the on screen x,y position of units on screen (or maybe their nameplate) with an extension to the Native Inspect functions, combine this with range calculation for scaling and all sorts of things become possible

Looks like plates went live today.

Now if we can get a mod that shows when you have threat on something or not, I'd be a super happy camper.
