Raid add-ons

I'm not familiar with the world of addons. I never played WoW... my MMO experience ended mid-way through EQ where skins were really all there was for customizing my play.

So I was wondering if there are popular Raid mods that may be implemented through the availability of add-ons? Looking for an easy way to track attendance, and maybe even loot drops without having to deal with the XML files.

Unless of course, someone knows of a good 3rd party site I can upload the XML's and have the data pulled out in an effort to track raid attendance?

This is Stephen from Guild Launch http://www.GuildLaunch.com/. DKP and raid tracking is an area where addons can really augment the game in a beneficial way all around IMO. We plan to create DKP addons and to support community created ones if/when they are available. We're evaluating whether this can be done with the current API right now. Currently, we do support XML imports in our raid system for tracking attendance.
