- One-Bag-Addon that lets me filter for item quality
- Auction addon that lets me mass-auction items based on their quality and type (ever auctioned appr. 250 artifacts at the same time? 2 hours of clickydyclick is no fun)
- Mail addon that lets me click "open all". PLEASE.
- Buff/Debuff addon that shows a) my own buffs and debuffs magnified and b) warns me when they run out.
- Aggro management addon
I actually like the default UI, including the customization features, a lot, otherwise. No need for XPerl for me. And I don't really get my hopes up for a fully-fledged Auctioneer addon - that thing is easily one of the most complex addons ever for WoW. It will take months for something like that to show up, and I'd be surprised if Rift would even allow it.
healbot type addon
a bag addon like onebag/onebank
a dps/heal/threat meter. (i know about the parser, but thats too much tabbing out and whatnot =P)
thats about all i would care to use.
oh decursive type addon would be nice too

To heck with it who needs a banner anyway.
So CulannHS you want to make an addon to wreck the enjoyment of the game for most people, just to proove a point? Waste of talent imo. When it came to pugging, if someone was at the minimum GS for a raid and did minimum dps for said raid, but lived from beginning to end of encounters, I would take that person over, the over geared moron who did the most dps in his one minute of existance for every encounter.
What would be more useful is creating a raid resume type of program, displaying raid encounter experience, how long they survived each encounter, and how they died. A put up or shut up type of program, keeping the overgeared overcarried idiots from hassling others. Then people will be chosen in pugs based on their skill, rather than a made up number.
Even with a pug fresh to raiding, you can go through their resume, and see how well their skills are.
Playing games without addons, means players have to earn their reputation based on their skill, a program like the one I mentioned encourages players to play skillfully. Casual players won't be interested in this type of program, because they play for fun, generally casuals do run with casuals. By the same token those interested in progression in pugs, would utilize it.
i have to agree with spyrit. i just think GS addon is bad bad bad. always have even when i did have characters that were uber geared. i used it because it became almost necessary (sort of...it was a guild thing..for when we had to grab pick ups) but yea.....
i just realized that what she was talking about may not have been GS addon and im too lazy to read the whole forum but i stand by my feelings on a GS addon for sure

- Further layout customization: not necessarily anything like Pitbull or Bartender but something that plugs into the default layout editor and allows for further customization. I like the aesthetics of the default UI but just want a more customization.
- Along with the previous one, a grid overlay with snap-to-grid layout helper to aid in organization of my layout.
- A nameplate customization tool such as tidy plates, or better yet threat plates.
- Threat meter.
- Equipment set manager.
- Buff/Debuff manager.
Vuhdo (clique+grid/healbot/etc...) that will support better mouseover+mouseclick healing with the ability to scale down the raid/party frames. I prefered Vuhdo because I could make the frame very small and they didn't eat up the real estate on my screen like healbot did.
Please integrate the heal mod with a hot timer that can show MY hots and those of another healer.
Also, an in-game all around dps/hps meter like Recount. The current 3rd party one is clunky. As a player trying to better myself, I'd like to know what I'm actually DOING for dps/hps to be able to compare before and afters (gear changes, spec changes, etc)

how about an addon to filter auction results by slot (for runes)?
I also really liked Squared (WAR healing frames that showed profession, curses, health, and distance)

Characters: Taldren, Sohwyn, Mythander, Paldren.
RIFT (Sunrest) - Guardian - Irony || WAR (PT/Gorfang) - Alliance - Irony
WoW (Azgalor/MT) - Order - Ravens || DAoC (Percival) - Hibernia - Ravens of the Veil
I personally hate vuhdo and healbot. If someone can make something like grid....I am A-OK! please please please.
I just want better floating battle text. That's it. Something more flashy like WoW with SCT up.
They stated it will be limited. Some of the request are well over the top and not needed.

-Coordinates on the Minimap.
-Mailbox UI that lets you process mail in and out easier example: empty multiple mail items at once by checking the mail messages and opening them with one click.
-Gatherer- like UI as in WOW
-For Healers Healbot.
