Default Is there a guild on Dimroot for us?

We've been scouring the boards, Google, and all the fan sites we can find. We'll keep doing so until we find our guild "home," but decided to throw ourselves out there as well.

    The IDEAL guild would be:

PVE: sorry - I don't want the griefers ruining my night
PST ACTIVITY: don't care if everyone is in Iceland, we just would like people online in the PST (GMT-8) evenings to hang out with
GUILD CHAT: friendly banter, helping with questions, etc. This is our non-working fun time, hopefully it is for you all too.
OPEN TO NEW PEOPLE: If you've all been friends since the dawn of MMO's, and aren't really looking to include the new folks, then we probably won't mesh
MODERATE # OF MEMBERS: Enough people to form a group and do some content with. If you're small today, but are looking to become moderate size - we can help with that
MATURE-ENOUGH: We're old. We have kids. We have jobs. My daughter says I have no business saying O.M.G. We really don't care if you're 18 or 60, if we can play like adults and have fun. We don't offend easily (and we try to not be offensive)

About us:We live in the Pacific NW. We're parents first, employees second, and gamers a distant.....thrid? We may be old, but we're not stuffy or dead . Hubby has played many more games than I, as WoW was the first video game I really got into. We've been in 3 guilds since BC. One we started and developed into a fun group of folks, who weren't uber, but managed to complete content on a relaxed basis (We jokingly called it our short, yellow bus guild). Another we raided with and took down the bosses in LK, but Cata just hasn't caught our attention. We miss the people and camaraderie, but haven't yet convinced them to play Rift! Hopefully your guild is exactly what we're looking for!

    >.< our guild (Abeo) is a small community of gamers, we have played 3 games together our age range is from 24-36 at the moment. We are definatley looking to recruit so we can complete our guild achievements quicker. We are not in a hurry to level to 50 because most of us work or have kids. We arnt elitest but we do keep track of DPS/HPS parses for most our fights. We have vent a website etc all that good stuff (my comment) check us out give feedback if you feel its the right fit let us know you can talk to zednik, radilla, radeon, eldrat or myself (Taer)
Let's go 40 man God and see what he drops.

    Default Still Looking?

If you're still looking for a guild, our guild, Guardian side - Vae Victis, is currently recruiting.

We have members in college, people who just work, and others who have familys.
A few of us are on the PST, so you will definitely find people to talk to.
Plenty of active members, we're relatively small (around 15~20atm), but looking to add more to our small family.

Most of us have come from other MMOs (not just W), but from many others as well, and we will raid, but only if people want to. Nothing will be required or anything. Our goal: enjoy the game.

Contact me at any of my char names in my signature, or one of the following in-game:
    Grymivorsa
    Dirtfoot
    Morgalla
    Zhitbeard
    Estipe
    Facepaint

and anyone else who is on (I believe everyone has invite powers)
if you can't get in contact with any of the above use: /who Vae Victis and whipser anyone on

Hope you're interested/look forward to seeing you in-game
    Guardian - Dimroot - Characters
    [Vae Victis]
    Nerfbat - Sab Rogue (Main)
    Eiko - Warrior (un-leveled Alt)
    Zidane - Mage (un-leveled Alt)
    Necron - Cleric (Main Alt)

If you haven't found a home yet, Pretenders will leave the light on for you. We're a growing guild and we'd like to get to moderate size. I'd like to see us raid end content without pugs, but we don't need to dominate the landscape with <Pretenders>. Some of us are friends off the game, some of us are just game buddies. We're very welcoming, though expect to be teased about something at some point. It's how we show affection!

I'm married with a young son and my wife plays as well. We have others who fit into that category with a range of ages. While we have a good time joking around, we want to keep it mature. I'm Drama-intolerant so keeping that out is a significant goal. We play on the Defiant side cause who doesn't love some steampunk? If you're interested, drop me or any of us a line and we'll get you and the hubby up and running.
