About the Warlords of Khaos
We will be an active guild at Rift's Live release
Based on Briarcliff (PvP) or Dayblind (PvP) - internal discussion ongoing - with an Australian timezone focus we aim to become a well known and respectable PvP focused guild with a side of casual PvE. Our main teams will be very driven and goal oriented, while at the same time we will have positions available for the laid back and casual or even just social players. The Warlords of Khaos dont recruit like typical guilds do. We never stop recruiting and never decline a solid applicant. We fill the guild with average or better players, give them access to: [Raids - WFs - Social Events] and sit back. We use a "Work your way up from the Mailroom" type roster system. Filling most Progression Raid Roster holes with battle tested Casual Members.
Our ranks are structured as follows:
Alt - Take a guess
Social - A casual relaxed rank with no participation requirements
Casual - A rank for those who wish to particpate in guild activities and raids but cant make a full raid schedule
PvP - Dedicated PVP'er
Raider - Dedicated Progression Raider
Officers - These people make the guild run and hold it together
Here's how it works:
Every application gets screened for potential. If a helmet is detected the Application is Declined. Those accepted will join one of the following ranks:
Social - Most people invited are promoted to this rank. You can either form one of your own raids, or sign up via the WOK Website. If you don't suck, and are active, you will be promoted to Casual.
Casual - Active talented raiders that show up on time and are focused. Goals are not set to high, geared towards casual player base. Talented casual raiders are "flagged" and given a spot when a space opens on the progression roster. Casual also has a PvP side with a similar structure to PvE
PvP - Active talented PVP'ers who show up on time and are focused. Goals are high, and the group is organized and driven. They work as a team to dominate all forms of PvP offered by trion
Raider - Active talented player who is always 100% prepared and focused to raid. Goals are very high. These are "hardcore elitists" type players
We are currently looking for all roles to fill out our roster
For further information on officer recruitment please visit this thread: http://forums.riftgame.com/showthrea...ic-Based-Guild
All potentially interested applicants should go to http://www.warlordsofkhaos.netne.net...wforum.php?f=1 and fill out an application today!
We are also in need of officers and site helpers, so get in early for an easy officer role. To apply for an officer position you will first be required to apply to the guild and be accepted. From there you will have access to the officer application boards
Our forums run on a need-to-know basis. You will only gain access to specific areas of the forums when you reach a certain rank. For example, casual members do not have access to the officers forums, and guests only ahve access to the recruitment boards and public forums and can only view the members forums once they have had an accepted application
We have begun to mobilize for the Rift headstart. I look forward to seeing everyone there
The guild ahs been recruiting well over the last couple of weeks. People should come and take a look at what tehre is to offer.
Officer meeting this Friday to settle on a server. It is looking like it will be Dayblind at this point
Officer meeting has concluded. We have decided to remain here on Dayblind
