Looks like a fun spec, nicely played. Those people at the Rift were just embarassing, though, but I guess you can only kill what is there to kill at the end of the day.

This server has NO world PvP whatsoever, I run around taunting people with that macro just to get a fight out of em. 90% of my fights are people running away.

Trion should offer free race swaps to balance things out a bit, would hopefully increase the amount of open world PvP. Had some nice fights in Shimmersands yesterday though.

I actually e-mailed them about this for myself/possibly the rest of the guild, but Trion didn't reply [yet]. In the mean time we're already nearly lvl40 on our Defiant alts anyway so I guess it doesn't matter by this point.

More likely, roll a mage. Gear is hardly what gives him the damage amount vs survivability, its the lock specc that gives tremendous amounts of dots and survivability, stacked with chloro for "healing".

Much like my reaver specc right now, only that war is less effective.

Yep, lock/chloro has so many defensive cooldowns and selfheals you can stay up for ages if played right. Ofc it's only gear tho, I'm just facerolling my keyboard and my gear keeps healing me cause it's so awesomesauce.

Also yeah, i ****ing hate GoS with a passion. Sadly it's pretty much the only viable grouppvp spec mages have besides domi (which they now nerfed). It's literally the most boring thing I've ever played, sitting still like a turret spamming fireballs.

I simply don't comprehend the love-affair Trion has with simple classes, champ/sabo/pyro/VK/etc, all ridiculously easy to play yet they're all ridiculously powerful aswell.

Where's the "master this soul combination and you're a god" spec, at the moment there are just "master this soul combination and you're almost as useful as the other guy with 1 macro" specs.

I never said it was only gear did I.. everyone knows youre a talented pvp'er with an eye for good builds and ability timings.. but claiming that the extra endurance (not seen many mages out there with 7k+ HP) and damage mitigation from the tier 4 5 and (probably 6 now) prestige gear your rocking has no bearing at all, is just silly flaming.

This game as stated before, isnt made for pvp though (they confirmed it themselves recently) so the balance is completely ****ed regardless. Lazy as i am im currently playing reaver with 14 skills in one macro. The rest in a few others. Should see some fraps i got, its a disgrace to everything that skill in pvp stands for. Same with the mage, think i have ~8-9 in one macro, and its only 29.

The reaver combo im using can pretty much tank a raid with all the cds. Just had a 3 vs 8 in steppes, my mates died, respawned and died again, i finished the fight. Completely ******ed.
