Pvp Conquest

So with 1.9 bringing us conquest in the ''Hopes'' too bring better open world pvp i am wondering what factions every guild will be choosing too see how much of an imbalance the conquest is going too have...

im not 100% sure if conquest is across our battle grp or just our server can any1 confirm?... if we can try and balance our server out abit would benefit every1 too have more fun out of conquest and not just have one team over populated which will just put every1 off and no1 will wanna pvp..

im goin too try push heresy towards Dominion faction

When is this conquest gonna come out i had fun in there. It was a good attempt by Trion with some obvious bugs like the buffs to sort out. With Guild Wars 2 lurking around the corner will most of us even see this patch ? If this is out a good month before Guild Wars 2 then it will be a blast. If it's out the same time then i doubt i will play it.

there is no release date yet im guessing a couple of months. Its clear tho that trion are making this patch to make you choose this or GW2. If it is out before GW2 happy days.

I will probably be in Dominion aswell, would love to know where you guys are going so i can follow, Unity to get to know eachother before gw2

I've stated on my guild forums, that a good thing would be if unity goes dominion so we can play together with u guys, wich is a good practice for future collabs.

the officers are taking that statement in consideration, but it's not in my hands so we just have to wait it out now ;)

If we get some news from the officers ill let u know.... tho I know from experience our officers dont tend to choose the most OP faction because they like a challenge ;)

Indeed, challenge is more fun, and so far if Trion doesnt do anything to balance the population in Conquest, it is guaranteed that the strongest faction will be Nightfall, even if we all unite in Dominion we wont be able to beat Nightfall, which will be the best times in Rift for us before gw2 because we will be outnumbered say 3 to 1

The reason im so sure Nightfall would dominate, is because of PTS, and i believe its very few that actually want challenge, so in my opinion after witnessing the strength of Nightfall in PTS most of the people that were in Oathsworn and Dominion will be choosing Nightfall for an easy win, so in live Nightfall would be stronger than what it was in PTS. Could victory or even defeat taste any better than giving them a hard time?

Hi all

Unity atm are in decision of which faction to take...

Oathsworn have the most in common with our guild mentallity and would make the most sense but at the end of the day we want our player base to be happy also.

When we actually know of a solid release date we will have made a decision.

Can guilds let us know maybe via this post which faction they are intending to play? Maybe we could get bloodiron to go Oathsworn or at least a few guilds?

Personally Ill get bored of a zerg festival... no challenge and not pvp imo, Id rather get roflstomped like a mofo than pve my way through.

Picking those smaller fights or owning a larger force is far more fun
