    Default what new Tradeskills should be in expansion

    I would like to see something like make the gathering skills secondary. Like butchering, mining, and foraging. then trion could add some more primary tradeskills.
    Some nice one would be like adding one just for mount crafting and one for house parts and cosmetics for player housing.
    so what would everyone else like to see?

    I have been thinking about this a little. Going back through games of the past. What i would like to see and i am sure others as well is some kind of stat items that can be imbued into armor and weapons (outside of what a rune crafter can provide).

    WOW did it with Jewlcrafting i beleive.
    Dark age of camelot did it with Spell Crafting.

    I would love to see more of a player controlled stat varriation to include resists/Casting speed/Swing speed/regular stats.

    I would like the spell system from EQ2, a tradeskill that allow players to make "books" that improve spells and skills.

    I would like to be able to do every Craft/Trade on one character which is what you could do in EQ1.

    1) Players no longer need each other.
    2) AH economy down the drain ( major income for some of us )
    3) Time consuming

    Actually, number of skills allowed on 1 character is good. Want another skill? Then make a new character or un-learn one of those you have.
    No more skills per character, gather- or trade.

    Actually, what pera has at #1 on that list is way more important then what I said, it removes all the social/community stuff from crafting if you can have all crafts/trades/gatherings.

    Maybe farming could be added for more ingredient synergy. but yeah. spellcrafting would be cool and adding all of them is a bad idea.

    Who would alos like to see a costume/pet crafting tradeskill?

    tbh.. they need only to work on their current skills.. introduce some new flavor to them, (runecrafting falling behind.. and why soo many runes that are raid manditory are only opbtained by npc's?? way to cut out the middle man). better synergy and use of crafting for end game players, atm it seems only apoth and wep smithing benefit raids.. (okok, and survivalist)


    as for the economy on crafting.. most servers only have good economy for 1-2 of the crafting skills.. the others end up selling things for under cost...making it so that there is no reason to craft it... need to add some true value to these other professions.

    I don't think we need more. There's a lot that can be added to them though, especially with housing. Furniture (woodworkers), curtains, rugs (outfitters), that's all things crafters could make. Maybe armorsmiths, weaponsmiths and runecrafters can make some of the components. I really hope it's taken into consideration.

    Plus of course, bigger bags, new weapons and armor etc.

    well, with the introduction of player housing, i would say that some sort of carpentry or artisan profession should follow and be worked in much the same way fishing and survival have. not a tradeskill per se, but more along the lines of a secondary skill
    true knowledge exists in knowing that you know nothing. and in knowing that you know nothing, that makes you the smartest of all
