You are also assuming all testing is for finding bugs. I love going to the dummies to test out different rotations and variations of specs. Its not about finding a bug but about practicing a new spec like Sab or BS. You can do a loot in a spreadsheet but that doesnt take into account reaction time nor latency.

Actually that wasn't what I said at all ... you took my quote out of context.

What I said was that instead of having to test and parse and whatnot to discover what my DPS should be I want them to make their skills more transparent. This is not bug hunting. This is providing the information to the community that they were to lazy to already do.

A testing facility is superfluous if the information you are testing for was already transparent and readily available.

A few more clumped testing dummies for AoE testing .... sure. I'm down with that. and testing your rotation and practicing a new spec doesn't require any new testing facility.

You'll argue you can't test certain aspects of a rotation without moving dummies... I'll argue it wouldn't matter because if you tried to create every possible scenario you may encounter then you may as well be practicing in raids you're over geared for already.

It isn't a BAD idea ... just an unnecessary one.

At bare minimum: a dummy with all raid debuffs and fervor/LE, FP on normal intervals, VoJ on regular intervals.
