Would be really nice if you could change to other races' hairstyle and make up options.

    There's no pre-viewing? For real?

Since we were not given any new hairstyles, opening up all the current styles to all races would certainly be better than nothing.

Hmm, as someone who just got an irl gender change, they'd probably have to give you at least a month of Soul Exhaustion after getting that done if it were to happen :P I'm not even allowed to lift 10lbs, let alone a full suit of platemail armour!

Given your experiences, do you think we are being over or undercharged on Rift for this service?

    A few things...

    1) I clicked on the guy from the outside of the tent, couldn't see my face, just the tent.
    2) I really miss the 'preset' and 'random' features. It just seems that what we can do is very limited, as we can't drastically change our look... just the shape of our current features. Very disappointing for what it costs. It's *not* the same as character creation at all.

For now this feature really doesn't meet my expectations frankly.

I didn't run into that issue actually.
Maybe you were farther away though

Um...so...because it doesn't have preset and random it is limited?
If Ir ecall right, you have EVERYTHING from the character creation screen, so how are you limited? O-o

No, you don't have the 'preset' option. Which means your character is limited in the preset you picked up - which means that whatever you change, your character won't look that different. You can't change your eye shape, your mouth shape etc...

Go create a new character and you'll see what I'm talking about. The 'preset' button is what totally changes a character appearance. That's why I'm disappointed, the only real changes I can make to my character is change her hair style and remove markings.

Erm, the presets are nothing more than preset combinations of all the various options. There's nothing whatsoever stopping you from making the character look like any of them, provided it's of the same race and gender.

Aside from human error in lining up the various sliders, preset 1 as well as preset 6 with the options mimicking preset 1s are virtually identical.

And seeing as the barbershop has the same options available, it's not limited in any way.

My wish would be to have set lighting. I have to wait for daytime to make changes so that I can see them.

That's interesting. I'll have to play around with it more I guess.
