Yeah, and because i have an ember steed, yesterday I got more than 500 of the summer merit badges and 2 bracelets with just my 2 quests. I haven't even started the scavenger hunt or done any of the dailies.

Is Trion doing anything of the scarwood reach quest? Here at Deepwood it is ******* horrible, you aimlessly run around for 2 hours and find nothing, there are only about 3 viable spots so far for trees and they are endlessly camped by zombies who refuse to budge.

How, I wonder, do you think someone is going to be happy waiting more than an hour for nothing? I understand it can't be too easy, but how do you expect someone to have ANY form of positive thing to say after wasting more than an hour of his/her life for nothing??

You do know that you don't have to do the entire thing in 1 day, and by the end of the weekend there will be essentially no one doing them so no more camped spawns, right?

Yeah. That's how i do it for most world events... Just wait two days until all those min-max-NOWNOWNOW-kiddies are through with it. And then enjoy it!

Its not invisible until you step on it. Its visible from quite a distance. It IS however only in existence at any one spot for 60 seconds, then it winks out and appears somewhere else. That's what I am currently looking at tweaking.

The goal with these quests is to encourage team work, it's a Summer Camp-like atmosphere after all. These quests would/will be far less frustrating in a Live environment since there will be more people in the area looking, which drives up the likelyhood that you will find them. That being said, 1 minute is probably too short and I will be tweaking that as well as some of the quest text, although don't expect a riddle from me ;)

maybe that is what you hoped would happen, but this is not fun,. not exciting it is Frustrating and irratating. Not fun game time at all

Yes, actually it does. You do realize that there is more to do than just stare at a spawn spot for 1 quest right? It's also not a daily, you seriously don't need to have it done on day 1. Believe me, if you didn't get shard first in the first 10 minutes you've already missed out on that, so what's the rush?

The thing is that the spawn timer is about 30 min... with 50 people standing around it... how long will it take until people get their quest done. You can't even get it done within a week... if you have a job and can't sit on the computer 24/7.

group up, form a raid and everyone in the raid and nearbye gets credit. It helps a lot to co operate with others to get this quest done

but yes it is horrible and needs to go DIAF.

I just picked up all the quests in the maze and see that they are all level 50 and require me to go to high level zones.

I haven't been with Rift for long and my highest character is a level 38 necro. Can't I complete some of the quests with my level 30 - 38 level characters? This would seem strange for a world event.

Found tree, pay close attention to the quest wording. Near goblins in Standing Stones, map location 4930, 2727. Save you all some time keep checking around this area until you come across a tree you can pick up like an articfact. Hint, it looks like one of those curvy bonsi trees, but bigger.

The easiest place I have found in finding the damnable tree is right in the middle of Standing Stones. I don't know about the treasures, since I have not gotten to that quest yet.

I must have missed it. I was in my back yard wandering around hoping a metor would land so I could buy a new car. Actually I was working on the Gloomwood trees and as I understand it you are just wondering around looking for random shrums spawns.

Go to 5023, 2710 where you will find etching on the stones. Tree appears there. Best to group with anyone else there is possable. All in group will get credit.
