Your right, closing a rift gets you 8 . . . but takes much longer than 50 seconds and has travel time in between. So I'm still not very convinced that it's a more efficient way of gathering the summer event currency.

Still no tree for me in Gloamwood, not sure any of the quests have been updated - I know its been a VERY exciting week for Trion

Harpy Chow is still not giving credit, "Attitude Adjustment" needs an attitude adjustment, and I can't locate any treasure in Shimmersand

My favorite quests (and clues) of the scavenger hunt have been those in IPP. The waterfall jumping in SG was also fun!

The Gloamwood Tree now stays in one spot for 5 minutes (unless used) as does the Scarwood Reach Mushroom Circle. That should make them much easier to find.

As for the Shimmersand Treasure- it certainly exists, there are something like 40 different locations along the beach in Shimmersand where it can be, make sure you are using your ability and it shouldn't be that much of a challenge to find it!

Thank you for the update Kerilar, I will try them out again. Apologies in advance for relieving myself on the tree of Wisdom when I eventually find it

I can verify the tree is not only there in Gloamwood but it will in fact not wait as you to take a screenshot before vanishing. Fortunately there was enough time to go find it on the other side of the zone before it moved again.

Combing the beach & using the skill to find treasure from Fortune's Shore to Gritsquall Haven there was not a single treasure spot so something isn't right. I give up.

Other quests I mentioned in my previous post still not working. Anyone else finding the same issues?

Same here. Tried the SS beachcomber this afternoon and found nothing, nowhere.

I also have been unable to find the tree in Gloamwood, the mushrooms in Scarwood, or the Foulmouthed Boglings in Moonshade.

Any hint as to what it looks like, please?

This Gloamwood quest is eating away whatever sanity I had remaining. I understand no quest markers for a scavenger hunt but this one is just crazy.

Here you are, I lightened this up a little. After it moved to the second spot where I did click on it, it was the same tree model as you see in the screen shot. Good Luck! Make sure you are mousing over all the trees like this one as you run around there wasn't anything else special about it!

Thanks for sharing.. I haven't been mousing over trees. As my husband just commented, "whoever made that quest has a morbid sense of humor." /sigh

    You're welcome Cyliena

After yesterday's update on the PTS, the skill for "Attitude Adjustment" is gone again with no way to get it back (without abandoning and retaking the quest). The tracker still shows that I am at 9/10

I'm working on this one currently. If I'm reading this correctly... the hidden treasure will only be at one of 40 possible locations at any given time, and we need to find it 25 times? Please tell me I'm reading that wrong.

I've been combing the beach every few steps from Fortune's Shore and now am up to the end of Hullbreach Shoals and still have found squat. I absolutely love exploring and questing and world events in any game but between this quest and the Gloamwood Tree I think I'm going to give the Summerfest event a pass. It's quite discouraging to spend hours to have no progress in anything.

My info into this issue might be a little late, but tried it this evening and was having the same problem, not one treasure found along the beaches of shimmersand with using the 'search for treasure' skill.

so far i have completed 'Little Scavenger Hunt Part 1&2' with no problems and have just about completed 'The Great Scavenger Hunt Part 1 & 2' with the exception of Moonshade - 6/10, Shimmersand 0/25 and Droughtlands (which i haven't checked yet).

Overall I have enjoyed the majority of the quests given, the only concern I have are the ones where you have to farm a certain said number of quest items to complete the quest. For example 'Find Gold Samples in Scarlet Gorge 0/10', I was basically 1 out of a few people on pts shard and this actually took me approx. 8 hrs to complete, due to the spawn rate and also due to the drop being a 'pyrite sample' and not the actual gold item needed. My concern is trying this quest on a live shard, but, I'm pretty sure the dev's have put that into consideration. =)

Little Scavenger Hunt, Part 2: Greer Hontz is CONSTANTLY spawning and despawning immediately. Simply approaching him is so spammy and laggy that my computer almost came to a stand-still. It's impossible to pickup his quest, so I have no idea which quest he offers.

What he keeps saying over and over is:
"I tell you Ascended, more people go in there than come out!"
"It was nice knowing you Ascended."
"You won't last 5 minutes, I've seen whats in there you know!" (missing an apostrophe on the what's, by the way!)

I found the wisdom tree last night! I'd been reading this thread and just got a 'feeling' so off I went on my Bahmi warrior.
Sure enough I found it almost immediately on the side of the road which goes towards the dungeon, just before you get to a little Guardian quest hub.

A side effect of the Summerfest hedge maze in Sanctum causing things to be moved: The "Feather of the Messenger" artifact is hanging in mid-air and very difficult to interact with at 7531, 871, 3115.
