    Conquest - We'll see how this goes. It's probably still not going to be my 'thing' regardless though :P

    Mentoring - Everything seems ok here, I only hope that balance continues on this, as on the PTS I was WAY too strong when mentored down to a Lv 14...

    Prestige - Meh. Again, not PvPer here.

    World Event - Feedback is on the world event thread.

    Low-Level IA - Seems good so far. I hope both threads of it can be in for 1.9 though. Assuming those work well, I'd want Lv 20-40 ones (Stonefield for Defiants, Gloamwood for Guardians, Scarlet Gorge+Scarwood Reach for both factions as one batch, Droughtlands+Moonshade Highlands for both factions as one batch, add in Iron Pine Peak for the Lv 40-50 batch) added to the game over 1-3 more patches. This would make it... 6 batches of Instant Adventure for each faction, or maybe 5. When Planetouched Wilds comes out(?), I'd put it together with Ember Isle IAs. But I don't know anything yet :P

    Fishing and Survival - No feedback as I have largely ignored these so far, but may work on them this summer.

    Bag Sort - Love it! I'll check it out.

    Friends - I'd go further and allow cross-shard Friending.

    Quest Sharing - FINALLY. Good.

    Exp locking - imo makes sense

    Pets - good

    Leaderboards - Divisions still don't make sense to me, so I still *entirely* avoid this feature. Yep. I'd rather be compared to *everyone* on my shard (or faction on my shard), not just a division which I don't even understand.

    Pet follow - THANK YOU. I hated having a pet class because of the constant need to turn on Passive. Hope this distance is somewhat short.

    Outfitter Bulk - THANK YOU.


    Screenshots and movies - Do NOT do this. We are quite used to it being in the Rift folder. We know how it works. This only mucks things up.

    Not sure which trait is strong, incorrectness or illogic. The incorrect part is about pvp weapons being better. PvP weapons are a joke overall if you don't aid them with the pve stat somehow. Even so, the top end relic weapons are the best weapons in game. 43 valor and more HP is not worth removing the best weapon in game over.

    The illogic part is best of both worlds. It's like a math problem and you didn't complete the equation to make your stance make sense. People Pve to get exclusive hit to perform better in pvp with a unique advantage provided by hit. People pvp to get exclusive [stat that doesn't exist] to perform better in pve with the [no advantage given at all by pvp gear or stats] in pve.

    See, the people who want hit removed, can say it because the equation at the moment doesn't follow through. You people who say if you want to be best overall, play both sides. You are ignoring the fact that saying that has no concrete logical grounding because it does not ring true globally in the game. Which means it is inconsistent, which means to suggest playing both realms of the game to be best at both is a lie. You play PvE to be best at PvE. You play PvE and PvP to be best at PvP. You don't play PvP at all to be best at PvE right now.

    I promised myself I would not make this a snarky flame and explain why I said what I did. That is why you are incorrect and illogical. I would re-think those ideas because if Rift had a debate team that argument would get ripped in half, the whole "play both sides of the game to be best at both", when one considers the realistic circumstances of the live game.

    This is what we have so far. I somewhat agree with you, but I think it is enough for a patch so far. No, its not a major amount for a non-raiding PvEer though.

    Yes, you're right. My mind stuck in caster mode most of the time.

    Again, some focus/hit would be fine. Maybe double the hit of whatever focus is given (something like 20 focus on a 2H hammer, 20 hit on a dagger, 40 hit on a 2H sword, etc). Just not near what PvE offers (or the hardcore raiders will start wanting vengeance on their HK relics ).

    * The Undead Fish artifact collection has, at long last, been added to Hammerknell - both Chronicle and Raid. Even more reason to fish in Hammerknell!
    orrect me if im wrong but the only place to fish in hk is when u get to Aky ?!
    yes there is the water in merdi's room but u cant currently fish that

    so am i to assume your going to change this for chronicle ?

    Violacea consistently makes valid, articulate arguments. Simply put we have a stat REQUIRED for success in both aspects of the game, but only available via one. This is akin to putting endurance on pvp gear and then telling pve'ers to suck it up. Hit/Focus is required in both sides of the game and should be available in both.

    If Trion wants to stop PVE'ers from taking shortcuts via PVP they should limit the "hopefully" newly-added hit on PVP weapons to a certain percentage against pve. Similarly to how they removed the effects of Valor from PVE, or how they reduced the effectiveness of healing in pvp.

    Put hit on pvp weapons, but make it 50% effective in pve.

    CHAMPION
    * Destroyer's Bearing: Can now trigger off of Deathblow.
    * Cornered Beast: Now properly grants immunity to Knockback and Polymorph.

    PARAGON
    * Flurry: Now properly grants immunity to Knockback and Polymorph.

    WARLORD
    * Intercept: Now has a range of 30 meters.
    * Distractions now properly stack with each other so you can have two Warlords using different Distractions.
    hm..

    so now warriors have 30m range while not even bards can get it? (pssst, wtb bards not having soo much threat, when they offer sooo little..)
    now to fix the lolstorm1buttonkill10people bug, cuz i know it's a bug, nobody in their right mind would honestly give anybody that much power..

    no, you are wrong, akylios's room is not the only fishing point in HK, raid or otherwise.

    This was also the issue with Mentoring in EQ2 although it's nice to be able to join up with friends who just join the game it was always OP. Hell I had 2 accounts and could powerlevel my toons on the second account to max level in a day or so.

    I don't know that there is actually a fix just adjusting stats down doesn't really do much for making a character less powerful possibly adjusting the number of soul points available maybe. But again this would be a pain having to respec everytime you mentor.

    For those wondering how to unsummon the companion pets with thes changes, you could always unsummon your pet without draggin out a new one by clicking the pet thing again that you used to summon it.

    Example in case if I am not clear,

    I summon Fae Squirrel, to unsummon it I can click the Fae squirrel pet icon again and it disapears, the same icon used to summon it will despawn it if it is already active.

    ON top of that, one must consider the fact that as with all PTS notes, they come in sets.
    This is Set #1.
    Usually there are 2-4 sets per patch.

    Yes, you need some hit/focus in PvP. It's to overcome resistances. It doesn't have to be much. I keep +13 focus runes on my main and offhand, and never have a problem. Benefiting from that 26 focus is not even in the same league as needing 400 focus.

    I didn't say it shouldn't be considered at all (my exact quote was not to give them "anything near the focus required for instances"), but there is no reason whatever to give a PvP 2H 100 or 130 focus.
    i have 33 hit and some how every once in a while a warrior wearing all that heavy armor is capable of dodging 9 hits in a row?
