New to PTS

How do you auto lvl your toon 50? I've seen lvl 1s in town but whenever I make a new toon I have to go through the starting zone. Am I missing something somewhere?

As soon as you enter the starter zone with a new character, you should see a little werewolf guy standing in front of the first NPC you see. The werewolf is named "Fluffy <Destroyer of Worlds>". Talk to him and he'll port you directly to his location in your faction's major city. Talk to him there and he'll give you a quest that will level you to 50, give you all of your souls, several mounts, a bunch of bags, and 500p. Simply accept the quest and then talk to him again and turn it in. He'll then offer you a quest to advance to prestige rank 8. Same as before...accept the quest and talk to him again to turn it in and get your ranks. You can then buy a full (and I mean FULL) set of PvP gear from him for 1s.

If Fluffy isn't there, Fluffy isn't there and your option is to copy a character from your live shard or start fresh with a level 1. He was around the whole time I was on today (and I made a point of creating four characters and grabbing the free advancement while I could in case he's not there for future tests.)

Couple of things to note: I did this with Guardian characters. I haven't tried with Defiant characters. Also, he won't give you quests to level up or max your prestige rank with a character copied from a live shard. He will sell you the PvP gear for 1p, but if you don't have a level 50, rank 8 character to test with, your best bet is to make a new character and let Fluffy save you some time.

Fluffy sells four different sets, specific to the calling you're using when you talk to him. Set 1 is rank 1/2 gear, set 2 is rank 3/4 gear, set 3 5/6 gear, set 4 7/8 gear. The set comes in a container and when you open it you'd best make sure you have abundant bag space available because he doesn't just give you the gear, he gives you all armor, all weapons, sigil, a wide selection of lesser/greater essences, synergy crystal, and all the runes you need to enchant all armor/weapons.

Well, while were on the topic of being new to the PTS anyone mind telling me how to get my parer to work on here? It works on live without a hitch but I don't see a combat log file to target in the PTS folder. I know people are parsing on the PTS and I'm rather curious how so that I may do the same.

Afaik fluffy wont be there anymore as now copying from live is the basic way to create a pts char.
they (devels) said that now they will activate fluffy (and equip sellers) only if the main pourpose of the test will be to actually test some new gear or options not obtainable on a live char.

Err...I misread that with my previous reply. Fluffy wasn't offering PvE gear when I was chatting with him yesterday. I don't know if the devs offer PvE gear through Fluffy when they're testing raid content, but unless you're doing top-end PvE testing where hit/focus/toughness really matters, a full set of rank 7/8 PvP gear will get you started. I was messing around with some chronicles last night in PvP gear.
