Increasing Weapon DPS

So warriors get increased Weapon DPS with their Planar Attunement, but doesn't that scale extremely well for warriors? I don't know how their math works, but I would like to be informed because that seems like a large buff.

they've stated several times now that the tooltip is wrong, they add damage for the abilities, not weapon DPS (which would be OP)
