I'm all about pvp when it comes down to it. Hence i voted for pvp, however I'm also into hardcore raiding. In the many mmo's that I've played the guilds that I were in accomplished both. For instance in age of conan we were able to pvp better then all the other guilds on our server and we knew how to get our T2 helmets before anyone else knew how to =D.

You know, I said hardcore raiding guild but if the PvP is good I think I'd actually like to go down that route for a change.

I still haven't voted, because I'd prefer a combination of hardcore raiding and a casual/social guild. It's hard to make these types work successfully, but when they do they're a lot of fun.

    Default Deciated PvE

No PvP or hardcore RP (light RP is ok) for me.

And please don't trivialize content after some time 'cause i want the same challenge the hc raiders had when i reach the point to do it some weeks/months after them!
Same reasons for me. I've done the hard-core raiding thing and enjoy it, but work and RL does leave enough time to make guarantee attendance stuff. I will be definately watching out for a European based PvE RP server.

I'm pretty much a PvE guy who will raid once in a while. Work keeps me busy so I don't have time for a set gaming schedule.

I like the types of guilds that are committed to each other and the progression of the team as a whole. It doesn't have to be a hard core just truly committed to the cause.

The best guilds I've had thus far are normally just for fun, but we schedule the hardcore stuff in between. Three days on four days off for anything other then normal game play. I have been in full hardcore guilds, and when you crack a joke in vent and get yelled at its not very fun. Guilds focused on PvP just seem bland, to me its something to do on the off days together.

Also, I will always join a guild with a few friends even if a better opportunity presents itself, because that is what its all about for me.

I voted casual, however I like a sprinkle of seriousness with raiding. That is to say. people are dedicated enough to join in and support other guildies, but won't rip out your throat if rl commitments take over. Seriousness takes the fun out of the potential excitement of raiding with people! plus, I was never much of a super serious person ^_^

    What's the old saying?

I wouldn't want to be a part of any guild that would have me as a member.

I voted casual because that fit what I like the best of the choices. I would say that I enjoy casual-raid guilds with heavy emphasis on fun and a close-knit feeling. I want to feel like I am a part of a family in my guild, not a class that they need.

This becomes a problem often because I almost always play a healer so I find myself being treated like a healer and not like a person.

I definitely love to raid but as I have an active life, I can't dedicate the time required for hardcore raiding.

    Thumbs up

Voted Hardcore because that is what I have always lead or been apart of...... most likely the same will be the case with Rifts. Will try to lead a group of friends / guild mates if I start up a guild to be one of the top in Rifts or join one to help them achieve part of the top in the game status.

Dedicated Leveling is all part of the package as well with that option. You cant raid unless you have a great group of people dedicated to leveling and making sure the guild stays together leveling rage wise to make sure everyone is ready to Raid content when the time comes.

The true test is gearing up, farming, keys, access flags all the things that require of high quality raiding is where people make the choice is it worth it to see the content first or wait until its found in a Wiki guide some where for us to follow.

I'm of two minds: (1) Casual guilds FTW! (2) No guilds for me kaithnxbai.
