I hope it is not necessarily so that all classes must have a side. Of course classes such as paladins and clerics are inherently good but I'd like to see a variety of classes that fit both sides, such as the elementalist. I see no reason why they must be good or evil?
You have to look no farther than EQ to see this. Dark Elves could be mages and so could High Elves. I like freedom to be who I like.
I just don't really want to see EQ2's purely good or purely evil class distinctions. I always felt very restricted by that even if the class designs were very good. There were crossovers but they weren't enough in number.
I see no reason why an assassin couldn't work for the Guardians. The Guardians are in outright war with the Defiants. I'm sure they're allowed to play dirty and bump off a few of the enemy. After exploring the Lore, Guardians fits the most for me.
But who knows, i'd like to see more about all telara races.

There's still so much we don't know about the game, I had to go with Undecided at this time.
If I like the game I'll probably buy two accounts and have alts on both sides.
