North American Server Structure Update

Being that we are being forced to move severs are they going to up hold all the rules of the sever move. since they gave us less then 48 hours to tell people.

super short notice would be, we are doing this in 2 minutes. A 2 day notice is not short by MMO times.

time to decide on a server, inform the entirety of a guild, and get everything moved, requires more than 48hrs notice. a week would have been far better. hell I would have been fine finding out the wednesday that just passed that we would have to move by server reset.

I have questions:

1) I don't see anything in FAQ that says they can't, but before I let folks know they need to transfer I want to make sure: Can Lite accounts transfer same as normal accounts?

2) Will the level restrictions on transfer be in place for this?

2.b) If so, will we have any leeway time to get characters up to 15? (I remember Rocklift still being playable for a while after it was "trial-ed", will the same happen here or will be limited to the bare necessities immediately?

I have a few friends running with me on Lite accounts to try out the game, and I need to know if I should tell them they have to re-roll to transfer servers. (They're levels 8-12 at the moment, and won't be able to play again until this weekend.)

Quickly answering a couple questions:

- As far as Transfer restrictions go, they're all removed once the shard is flagged "Trial-Only" on Wednesday. This includes trials, low level alts, etc.

- Guild Transfers: sorry those weren't included, I"ll see if we can get that updated! Fortunately, it's straight forward:

• As the guild leader/officers you'll want to empty out the vault.
• Once you're ready to transfer both your guild and character just hit the transfer tool at character select.
• As a guild leader it will automatically prompt you to transfer your guild during the Character transfer process. Also, I'd recommend making an alt an officer/leader otherwise it will automatically pass to the next most senior member.

Transferring guild is automatic. If any toon ranked as Guild leader (or whatever max rank is for you) transfers itll ask if guild leader wants to leave guild or transfer guild. If he/she transfers without leaving he drags guild with. Then when any member logs on they get a notice saying where guild moved and gives option to move with guild. Also notifies if Guild name has changed as only one guild may have a certain name on a shard at once. Something else to consider.

This really rather upsets me since every single time the question has been asked if shards are going to be shut down, the official answer has been no. I like my low pop shard. I do not want to move to a higher pop shard. If others wanted to, they had the ability to do so for free. Unfortunately this means that my boyfriend and I will be quitting, as part of his mental health condition requires him to have the character name that he currently has in order to be able to play, and it is not available on any other shard. I've always been impressed with Trion's customer service in the past, but this is terrible. Only 2 days notice, forcing people to transfer and lose their character names.

Out of curiosity why has it never been implemented to transfer the entire guild bank with the guild when it moves?

If you have a full bank, you need 5+ characters to empty it out and move it all, and thats if they have all their bank slots and max bags and etc

Character Transfers but nothing for how to trans a guild on that page and I cannot find it in search, which seems to be only about Character Transfers. Anyone have the correct page link for guild transfering please?

its the same as character transfer. Just your guild bank has to be empty.

the guild leader transfers and the guild transfers with him. People will then get a mgs on the original server that their guild has moved. when they transfer then on the new server they automatically in the guild on the new server. (you just have to promote them again). Its really simple and prbl. the best guild transfer in mmo history.

Normally takes just one character for us, and we have all five bank tabs.

It takes 2 characters with fully empty bags and bank to fully move my alt bank which is full and has all the tabs.

I guess you guys are lucky

525 bank slots in all guild bank

338 per char who has all spiritweave bags in every slot including bank

While having more people in the wargroup is a bonus, having more people on Faeblight... meh.

More Lag, more bots, less mats to farm, more people to put on ignore.
