Please. You can still both raid and do PvP. Its just in your imagination that you think you NEED the top gear for both of them. If you have a job and other hobbies (i.e. being casual gamer) you're not supposed to be as well-equipped as the hardcore guys who dedicate hours upon hours a day to have the BEST. Reward for effort?

I'm a casual gamer, and dont expect to have the same gear as a hardcore player. And Im happy it makes a difference.

that it besides the point and issue at hand, there will be raids and such i will not get into .. i can live with that .. but gear should not just be a time sink. it is about gathering for the right build/template etc. I guess all the EQ and DaoC people out there know what i am talking about.

it should not be a "stat" that adds noting besides time sinks. That is what made wow for a larger part about gear and no skill, and we don't want that do we?

i'm against 2 armor sets it's a waste of bag space and on top, i'm against the idea that gear has to matter that much.
Though i spend a lot of time gaming, i don't like the idea to have to grind gear like in WoW, one of many reasons i quited that stinking game.
personally i would like to see it more in the way DAoC had it.
