Is this 3 group PVP going to take place in the WF or only in PVP servers, or just for PVP flagged players?

I like the idea of multiple raid groups a bit like multiple warbands in WAR. Raid groups can either zerg together or the leaders can coordinate toward different objectives. With regards calling balancing in raid groups, I'm sure an addon or two will be developed to help the raid leaders manage a sensible calling spread across groups (if Trion don't provide something themselves in future).

So the new pvp feature is a sliver at a current zone(example Stillmoor),where there is a cross shard battle?

No, instead they want to reward the people that play the game with a carrot. Innovative I know.
Personally I am curious how relevant they can make this to pve. I'd love to see pvp make a difference in the pve game. But my gut tells me this is going to be something like +5% exp gain and +5 to all stats, i.e. ignored.
WTB earlier testing times that don't conflict with raiding.

Sounds interesting, but isn't this basically Tol Barad or Wintergrasp (WOW) on a bigger scale? The only differences I see is the zone would be bigger and your introducing a third faction?
It'll be interesting to see if it will have a timer like those zones did, once the fight was over the next fight started in two hours, etc.

After playing daoc for 5 years. 3 faction pvp works out to be 2vs1 if 1 is so strong 2 and 3 don't stand a chance. Or it can be 1 and 2 fighting and 3 comes in and cleans up. Or any other way that 3 factions can fight it out to the there advantage. Makes for funner and more dynamic pvp then the 2 faction system. Thats why gw2 is doing it to.

Although there is a major difference.
Wintergrasp encouraged participation, craft yourself a full PvP set and jump in, man a cannon from the safety of the keep while quite quickly upgrading your crafted entry lvl gear to the same tier as everyone else, then getting stuck more into the thick of it.
Rift's version, either get in there with similar tier gear and no valor while slowly replacing that gear with lower tier gear with valor then farm your way through prestige lvls earning favor to slowly approach the tier of the vets, who now have P45 and P50. What's more "You won’t find gated doors in Conquest – your battle is on the field, not in a cozy castle!" there doesn't appear to be any alternative than to be a mouse against a TRex.
Yeah there was a difference, WoW knew have to grow the participating population, not reduce it.

How is this going to work with the current tagging system. So lets say group one is fighting group 2 and they all tag each other. Then group 3 comes in and kills both groups which is a common sight in 3 faction games. Since group 1 and group 2 already took damage from their original opponents who gets the credit for the kill.
Is both group 1 and 3 going to get credit for the deaths of group 2 and group 2 and 3 get the credit for the kills of group 1 or is group 3 going to get all of the credit?
