Zann, Rift PvP does provide enjoyment for me. However this has changed recently.
I'm tired of the stale content with no end goal.
I want to work for something in PvP!
In regards to that, the community could use titles, costume gear that has a special look.
The leaderboards happen to be a good first step towards competitive PvP, however this current leaderboard shows who has the most time to devote to PvP and that also goes for all the other crafting and general boards.
Could track win/lose ratio.
Since beta I have loved PvP in Rift, it has the spark for me that World of Warcraft used to have and now this spark is extinguished with Rift.
I will maintain my subscription only for the PvE content, and because of this; I'm happy that Guild Wars 2 is around the corner.
The day Trion/Rift gives us real competitive PvP such as Rated Warfronts with appropriate rewards. Rift then will be my only game.
I personally view this as the answer to why many people have quit PvP in Rift.
Why?
I started Rift for PvP! Really!
I remember the really good people when Prestige rank 6 was max. Now I don't see any of them.
PvP in Rift is not a challenge! It is a grind and nothing more. I do realize that you guys made great strides to reduce the grind and to make it more fun and competitive, however that is not the case; at least for the hardcore PvP community.
Zann, I'd love to work with the development team for PvP content. I'm sure I'd be a valuable asset in regards to developing PvP content.
I hope I made my points clear and well heard.
Regards,
Mythblaze
