My hand-eye coordination and quick judgement skills. Actually amazing at other things in life other than Rift, such as ping-pong, basketball, and shooting. My career is classified and I do neat work engineering all the things that need to be engineered.

I know I am late for the contest. But saw the post and wanted to say my piece. The most Extraordinary person I know is my middle son, Timmy. All my kids are special to me, but he is the one born with the most challenges in life.

At 8 years old he still can not speak because of his autistic brain type, but he tries so hard every day to do so. A lot of people think he is not intelligent because of his inability to speak, and treat him like he has nothing to offer. But he has taught me that is not so.

Timmy really enjoys life. He finds such joy in what other people would call simple.. A beam of sunlight is an adventure. A simple hanger can be used for so many wonderful things. Despite his challenges in life, he knows what true happiness is. Being thankful for what life presents to you at the moment.

Sometimes he makes me question the disabled label put on him. He finds great joy in this world, despite the challenges he is against. I think that makes him Extraordinary...

Celebrate us ehh. Lets be real here trion guy. The thing you and your people want to celebrate is a paycheck. This is merely a marketing strategy. Why don't you post a thread to celebrate pow's or newborn babys or children who are lost then found, or perhaps starving children who receive food to quail their hunger. Why don't you show your supposed adoration by giving these people free months of game play. After all, were such a great community. Our depth and breadth surpass all others. Gimme a break. What? Did you come in to work this morning to a note to start a thread like this. Celebrate us my ace! We would rather you all start a leader board and celebrate the leet characters myself and fellow gamers have created in rift since launch. Keep your patronizing bullcrap out of my game time, and tell your boss this thread and any like it are a crock o poo and stupid idea.

Are you extraordinary? Do you know of someone else who is? To commemorate the upcoming one-year anniversary of RIFT, we want to celebrate players who have an extraordinary story from their real lives to tell. It might be one moment from their life or something amazing they do every day. Whatever the case, we want to hear about it. Email us your story or tell us about someone you know who you would like to see recognized in less than 300 words before February 15, 2012. We’ll pick the most inspiring stories for a unique series of personal films we’ll be creating and sharing with the RIFT community. This is your chance to tell your story or shine the spotlight on someone else who is truly extraordinary.

Shortlisted entries, upon verification of the story’s accuracy, will receive further rewards to be announced at a later date and a select few will be asked to tell their story on film, which will be shared online.

Story Submission Guidelines

• Stories must be submitted via email to: extraordinary@trionworlds.com. Stories should be sent in the body of the message. No attachments will be accepted and/or opened.
• Stories must not exceed 300 words in length.
• Stories must be written in English, French or German.
• Feel free to submit more than one story to us for consideration.
• By submitting a story, you acknowledge that (i) you are the sole and original author of the story, (ii) you own all right, title and interest in the story, and (iii) it has not been previously submitted in a promotion of any kind or exhibited or displayed publicly through any means.

you know what is extrodinary that anyone still plays this boring , , cash cow of a game , they dont care about the player having fun they care about the game serving their purposes ,every patch I expect them to address the classes the lousy imbalance the impotence of some combat look at what a mess this game is I mean it is a cluster F. Im sick of this game and I wont pay to play this crap anymore. I care about all the time and effort I put into my characters but as they level, Trion makes the hard gains look trivial, every time they make a patch and they change things for balances sake not to make the game more fun or to make it easier to have players cooperate, they thrive on conflict because it takes the focus off of how this game sucks for the majority of players; quit hoping folks, it isnt going to get any better. I mean, there are manuals out online, several of them, that try to explain this game and how to play it effectively , you shouldnt need any special manual if your a level 50 and you have played since the Beta, but I actually thought of buying one , then I stopped and considered something , Maybe it is the game and not the player and it set me free ,>Later Rift Later Trion I m looking for something new and something better. Even a book would be better than Rift and that is pretty darn pitiful.
