All Shards - Phase 2 of the World Event has Been Delayed

You guys should think of having a TEST SERVER, to try out these events and new stuff beforre releasing them, liike most of the Big MMO,s out there!!

They did. It's impossible to have the same population on a PTS they will have on Live Servers. Issues happen. They try their best to fix them. Life goes on.

They were only getting small amounts of stones from bosses (eg 25), so not a big deal.

Yes, 10 stones per area boss (3 bosses per area, so prolly max I got 70 stones in 4.5 hours)
Now if you go and close rifts and kill invasions, you'll prolly get 2x as many without a single wipe.
Even if we got more, we got a few more bugs then you, should be worth a price right?

I'm really disappointed about this. I switched over from WoW because of a number of reasons, one being that it seemed like Rift wouldn't have delays on patches and events.

Guess I was wrong.

Maybe you might want to consider reading before posting next time.

we have identified several issues that only came to light in a live server environment.

There is no indication that these were not tested, as a developer, I know sometimes things can only be brought to light in a live environment. That doesn't mean I'm happy it got delayed (or with the pathetic round of reboots during the middle of the day, yesterday), but it happens.

I would advise making this event for tomorrow since you have to delay it..give people time to plan their game times again.

I hope they give a bit more notice than that, maybe make it for next weekend if they can work out the problems by then.

Folks, we're working to resolve the issues as soon as possible. We have not made a decision as to when we will be starting the events, however, we will provide notice once that decision has been made.
