Jump to post...So I did a little digging, and here is what I discovered about the adjustments to the animation. Since Beta, one of the biggest points of animation feedback we got on Rift was our walk speed not looking natural. So the animators took that to heart, but due to scheduling it was quite a while before they could dedicate some time to addressing the problem. So, when the time finally presented itself, the walk speed was slowed down in an effort to make it look more natural. The feedback on the new walk speed has been heard and is being looked at, it just takes time to decide where to invest our resources so we provide you with the best Rift experience. Currently, I don't know what will happen to the walk, but please continue to give your feedback. Seems like people don't like the general speed of the new walk, but what races do you feel have the worst looking walks? Also, if there are strong points about this new walk speed/animation, post that as well.
