** EU Region Update 1.4 - 1:30am GMT 5/8/11 **

Good evening!

The EU region shards will be coming down for the update to 1.4 tonight at 1:30am GMT, 4/08/11. The estimated downtime is ** 1 hour ** and should include the fix for the issue that kept NA shards down for additional time during the NA 1.4 update.

Patch notes have been posted on all language forums and will be updated on the patcher for EU at the downtime.

I'll be back during the downtime with status messages!

The EU 1.4 update is currently on hold pending a build that contains fixes for many of the live issues found on NA shards today in 1.4. If the Hotfix #1 build is not through QA by 5:00am GMT we will update with the current 1.4 at that point.

In other words: Downtime for EU TBA, 5:00am GMT at the latest.

The EU update to 1.4 is currently on hold until the shard stability issues presenting themselves on the NA shards after 1.4 have been resolved.

At this point we are tentatively scheduling 1.4 to go to EU shards at 1:00am GMT 5/8/11.

The current state of the NA shards will be monitored overnight but a longer-term fix to the shard stability issues seen today is still in the works, and continued stability issues may impact the deployment of the EU update tomorrow.
