The sled idea is really awesome... I did it several times because it was a blast. Although I will admit that I was really disappointed that I couldn't sneak out of the area on the toboggan! I was hoping to ride that all over the place! XD

Hm, many old events had "Touch of the <Plane>" type items, but I haven't seen one for a while. How are we supposed to complete the set, and get the achievement, if we missed out the first time?
(For reference, Fae Yule #1 gave the Touch of the Storm)
Fae Yule 2012 also gives Touch of the Storm.
I assume you'll be able to get all the Touch items with elements relating to the annual events quite easily cause they are annual, and perhaps you'll get the other Touch items from the epic saga/cult quests as well as perhaps future world events that are connected to that particular element.
I'm not sure if this is a bug but everytime I enter sanctum I recieve a mail from Grandfather Frost.

Joyous fae Yule!
Greetings Ascended! Someone handed me this gift to give you. I can't reveal who, of course, that would be telling!
Attached is a Fae Yule Gift.
I think it would be interesting to experience the winter atmosphere of the capitals most strongly through a snowy ground or snow on the sets of capitals.
In addition, it would be really cool to have a dimensional script for snow falling from the sky (as in capitals)
And why not propose exploits that are not related to the warfront ?

I love the IA that builds the snow village progressively and then you have to defend it. The fact you get different dimension items from doing it is nice too. One of the invasions spawned a couple of yetis that glitched out and ran away from the wardstone instead of towards it.
