    Default Get rid of the cooldown timer on conquest

    As is, this is just messed up we played for 10 minutes, got chrushed by the other sides and are looking at a 2 hour+ cooldown before we can do conquest again :/. Why block something that is fun of people that want to play it, especially for such a long duration?

    The timer is actually more of a SOE-style move than anythign else. It should have never happened to begin with.

    Having not had the chance to log in yet, I was surprised to hear that there was a timer for Conquest - was kinda expecting it to be like warfronts where you just queue and it pops when there's enough people. Doing it once then having to wait for 2 hours seems like a wasted opportunity to me and im quite disappointed as I was hoping to spend a lot of time doing PvP between raids.

    Yea, I jumped on late last night and was gonna do a conquest before bed... 112 minutes... fail.

    The CD is a bit long for right now. I would suggest setting it to 15 mins for now while Conquest is the hot new thing, then moving it up as fewer want to run it. I understand the point is to make sure it's close to full before it runs but, two hours is too long right now.

    It may need that later but for now, please make it 15 mins, or even 30.

    maybe a warfront style queue is the answer instead. The server just tallies up queued players until it hits the number required to launch a new conquest, and after we've queued we can get on with whatever rather than watching the timer to see when we can try to log in to get killed in 10 minutes again..

    I wouldn't say remove the timer, but definitely lower it. 15 to 30 minutes.
    That's on the heels of many other improvements, of course (must be able to see all of your teammates, higher visibility of the units/enemies' team color, player draw distance, healing someone not in your raid, etc).

    I quess they plan on making more conquests, in different zones. When the CD overlaps eachother you would be able to do 1 conques(lets say in stillmoor), and after that join the conquest in shimmer(orso).
    As long as this is not the reality, the CD should be lowered. I like the fact of the cooldown in generall, 2hours is just to long.
    personally would like to see 1hr or 30min. though I can live with the 15min ones some are saying above me

    If they didn't put a cooldown on conquest then it will kill warfront queues. =/

    They must gate people in. While I do not agree with two hour queue times at any time of day, a minimum of 20-minutes is needed. I honestly feel the 30-minute queues are perfect.

    Its at 1 hour right now seems to be working fine. But now the kills needed for the game to end is too high. Last night we had a 5 hour game it went on so long 2 sides stop fighting altogether lol......

    cooldown wtf ...

    I play on Eu server , yesterday i played on primetime , clicked on the conquest join button at the beginning of the conquest and stayed in the queue till the conquest was finished . This happened three times and now u merged all eu servers in one pool .

    I think a 1 hour timer is about right it gives you time to do other things and still not miss out on each conquest battle.

    Well I can understand Trion putting the kill for victory at 12000 because after this morning Conquest with our German and French friends there was a lot of Open World PvP and after about 20 - 25 minutes we got to 61% and the kills were down to ~7500 so if the game is played as intended 12000 is going to be about right.
