    Greetings!

    We wanted to provide individual threads for each archetype to discuss and share their feedback. Please use this thread to provide your feedback for the upcoming changes in Update 1.4. Your feedback is important and can help shape and refine these changes - nothing is permanent on the Public Test Shard and your feedback is vital to the process!

    COMBAT
    In anticipation of Hammerknell level items entering the game we’ve adjusted certain Combat rating diminishing returns. These changes should only affect fully raid buffed characters in Hammerknell or better equipment.
    * Physical Crit, Spell Crit, and Block ratings have both soft and hard caps updated. These caps only affect the bonuses from your base rating and have no effect on percentage-based bonuses from abilities, buffs, and debuffs.
    * Physical Crit: Now soft caps at 45%, and the return per point of Physical Crit rating above 45% is reduced. Hard caps at 60%.
    * Spell Crit: Now soft caps at 45%, and the return per point of Spell Crit rating above 45% is reduced. Hard caps at 60%.
    * Block (Chance to Block): Now soft caps at 40%, and the return per point of Block chance rating after 40% is reduced. Hard caps at 60%.
    * Block (Amount Absorbed): Now soft caps at 50%, and the return per point of Block absorption rating after 50% is reduced. Hard caps at 65%.

    COMBAT – ITEM PROC RATES
    * Item with proc effects (% chance of X on Y) will now be normalized so that the results of an item proc are more consistent regardless of the ability speed or number of targets it hits.
    - Abilities that hit multiple targets will trigger procs less than abilities that hit single targets.
    - Abilities with longer casting times will trigger procs more often than abilities that are quick to cast.
    * Additionally, we've made a pass on the trigger events for procs themselves to make them more consistent across different items.

    WARRIOR
    We’re generally happy with the current state of Warriors and are continuing to monitor a number of smaller issues involving them.

    REAVER
    * Power in the Blood: Fixed a bug causing this to only take effect when the Reaver was dead.
    * Shroud of Entropy: Fixed an error on the buff tooltip.

    Nice I suppose, but can you put a soft cap on valor as well?

    Please fix the bugs with Riftwalk (firing but not moving the player; can't be used while under control CC even though it is supposed to break all CC, falling through the world, etc)

    Somebody had a great list of Warrior bugs somewhere on the forums. If you're not making class changes, how about some bug fixes?

    Void Knight
    - Would love to see Efficient Conversion working properly.
    - Replenish, this was spoken about back in beta that it will effect your current Endurance and not your base.
    - Would be nice if a pure void knight spec was the hands down best non-physical mit build. Currently it is not.

    Warlord
    - Would like Aspect of the Elements be comparable resist buff as it doesn't do life/death.

    Paladin
    - Preservation needs to be castable on self.
    - Revenent Protection needs a lower CD by 1 min or more rune damage.

    For gods sake, do something about warriors wanting daggers.....or if not, please give a comment somewhere explaining your logic....or something to get the rouges to shut-up!

    And stuff like Earth Burst not doing damage if the target is immune to the snare component (I know there are a # of abilities, and not just warrior ones, that are affected like this). Since we get no tweaks, we should at least get our major bugs fixed.

    It was addressed, you just need to work on your reading comprehension. Hint: Its in the part about procs.

    Thanks for nerfing my tank builds to crap after spending 6 months getting block items and using DKP on them.

    I would hover around 70-80% block in PVE, which is now nerfed to complete trash because you can't implement PVP only caps like every other game.

    Wrong, you need to work on your game mechanic comprehension. Pretty much the entire reason daggers reign supreme at this point are because of whetstones and spotters order, things that are not procs and thus not addressed by these changes.

    Please change Riftwalk in PvE content to move the warrior to whichever side of the monster they're facing (NOT the opposite side), making it like Bullrush/Thread the Trees - With the new synergy crystal bonuses for Riftblade, this ability will be seeing (potentially) greater use. Having to constantly reposition to use it effectively (read - not get hit by mob cleaves) nullifies whatever bonus we could hope to gain from it.

    Can you clarify are these hard caps to base stats or hard caps to the total with buffs, etc.?

    Can we block magic damage now like every other game...?

    Or how about giving us crit from Str so we don't do wear stripper gear.

    I just don't get the direction of these patches.. It was simple, just buff Cleric dmg in pve, mage dmg in pve, nerf heals in pvp and fix a few broken specs and everyone woulda been happy. If the gear was going to imbalance stats to this degree then modify it so its slightly horizontal progression instead of the verticle leaps some of this gear has on it.

    It would include buffs if it affects the rating (Ravenous Strength) but not if it straight out increases the % (Shield of the Hero/Chosen).

    But really, no Spotter's Order change? Nothing to address the fact that 51 VK is a better physical mitigation spec than it is magical? Or that DW is still ahead of all our other specs by a fair margin (namely because of Spotter's Order)?
