    Champion vs pyromancer: both are supposed to be 'glass cannon' souls, but when it comes to PvP, the champion has been toned down so badly that it doesn't even suffer a comparison. Let's try anyway:

    1. PVP dmg
    • champion: nerfed to 6% dmg vs players + Tactical Strike at rank 5 with 25% chance to apply 1 stack of 5% dmg up to 25% (cmon, what champion lives that long to apply 5 stacks!!)
    • pyro: 15% dmg vs players + 30% more crit dmg at rank 4

    2. finishers below 30% health
    • champion - deathblow: needs 3 points, on global cd - around 1200 dmg and fails to activate half of the times
    • pyro - inferno: doesn't need charges, off global cd - 1500-2500 dmg

    3. Critical chance:
    • champion: dex based - secondary stat - 12-14%
    • pyro: int based - primary stat - 20-22%

    4. Bonus from stats:
    • champion: 10 AP = 1 dps , skills don't scale well with it
    • pyro: 5 SP = 1 dps, skills scale too well with it

    5. Survivability
    • champion: needs 1 healer constantly holding his hand while he's fighting in close-combat in heavy AoE rain and getting killed as indirect target
    • pyro: 30m range, multiple shields and dmg reduction skills, can survive comfortably unless ganked by 2-3 players

    Bottom line:

    In warfronts at lvl 50, i am one of a few warriors that still play and I see fewer everyday. Even for PvE there is a lack of warrior tanks since they all seem to have re-rolled.
    I know i could go riftblade/void/pally ( actually i do most of the times now) but i started the warrior class expecting a high burst melee with low survivability in pvp. The low survivability is there all-right, but the burst seems to have vanished.

    Since the champs were nerfed repeatedly before fixing the armor penetration skills, when this was fixed what was left was a weak class, depended on spamming SLI and praying nobody will notice him while he's jumping an unsuspecting pvp rank 1 enemy

    Please consider at least increasing the PvP dmg from 6% to a decent value, change the Weapon Specialization to the previous value of 1.7 per point up to 50% and fix the AP scaling so all that STR we stack will actually show for something more then increasing the parry by few points.

    This pretty much sums up what I've been thinking. This post is not a whine post at all. Its a good comparison with another class that highlights our PvP issues.

    As a warrior i think it is higly balanced that a cloth user can negate 95% of all melee dmg with shields and a 8 sec 80% dmg reduction cuz i died in 4 sec from 3k-10k crits from a pyro =)

    and our now 5 point invested in a slow that gets diminishing return when we allready have a slow in neraly all souls thx.

    dont forget the stacking enduranc mages also get from being attacked, so 10k hp and upto 10k crits + 80%+ dmg reduction.

    If you interrupt a mage it is cool cuz he will just do a instant of the spell you interrupted =) so you delay the inevetiable for 1,5 sec instead!

    still nothing about fixing paragon or DW in general as rogues are in the same boat.

    you do realize that is with the power ball right? any class pretty much can do that with the power ball

    How do these pyro numbers keep climbing...Started at 4k, then 6k, then 8k now 10k? I'd love to see this 10k hit lol

    While you're at it, show me a mage with 10k HP. Thanks.

    saw a mage with 10k+ HP last night in a WF. too bad there is no armory feature otherwise id toss you his name. mustve been buffs that got him that high up though, not talking stock HP.

    btw, any idea if Trion plans to fix attack power?

    my other question is do healing debuffs stack together? vindicator has a healing debuff and im wondering if it will stack up with my mortal strike. thanks!

    The two warrior abilities will not stack from the same warrior, if one is on the target and you use the other one, the existing one gets overwritten.

    I have not tested, nor do I know, if they will stack from 2 different warriors.

    +1 for fixing AP.

    Please allow warriors to again wear plate. Your Rogues and Warriors will both thank you.

    PS: We hate being squishy in PVP too. =)

    Here is the initial testing of the AOTR attack power scaling after todays patch. I have included data from live and from the patch before today to compare. This was done on the test dummy using a tick of fiery burst:

    Live(391ap)

    With Aotr: 257
    Without: 180

    Test Before 5/4 patch(391ap)

    With Aotr: 261
    Without: 180

    Test after 5/4 patch(391ap)

    With Aotr: 263
    Without: 180

    It went from a 1.6% increase in damage before today to a 2.3% damage increase with todays patch. This will still leave Champ/BM/Para as the top dps spec.

    So many souls, but with the giant disparity .. useless flavor. Please make some other builds competitive dps with BM .. or just nurf the crap out of it already. Some of us REALLY hate pets.
