Avatar (honestly would say that was the most amazing film experience I have seen in a long time)
    Any of the Star Wars
    The Jason Bourne films
    Fifth Element
Gremlins/Goonies...and a lot of films of that era and ilk...too many to list really
Many of the Star Trek films (but not Nemesis)...especially Wrath of Khan, The Voyage Home and First Contact
    Howl's Moving Castle
Laputa Castle in the Sky (Hiyao Miyazaki films are so good)
Serenity - why they ever cancelled Firefly is beyond me
    Stargate
    Planet of the Apes
    (not the remake...no siree)
    Lethal Weapons series

    ...and a couple of humorous ones;

    Beavis and Butt-Head Do America
    Dumb and Dumber

The Fifth Element is great. It wouldn't rank as my number one but it does have my number one favorite scene. Sarah Brightman's techno opera - blown away. The vocal skill for something like that just WOW.

I loved the Aliens series as well as Avatar.

How to Train Your Dragon was a GREAT!! 3d film and very much enjoyed it.

I typically am only able to watch a movie once so if I can sit through a second viewing than it is great in my book.

Hrm, don't watch many movies (don't watch TV at all)... Well, lets see.

    300
    Lord of the Rings
    Happy Gilmore
Harold and Kumar go to Whitecastle
    James Bond
    Star Wars (the original trilogy)
    Independence Day
    Beerfest (give me Potfest )
    The Abyss
Monty Python and the Holy Grail

*shrugs* I'm surprised I came up with that many, but actually I think I'm missing some. I guess my friends get me to watch more movies than I think.

In High School our school did this as a one-act.

And if you must know, I was cast as Sancho Panza. Due to it being a one-act we didn't do any of the musical numbers, but everyone loves The Impossible Dream

If you noticed that my name, Sahim, is different from my signature's name, Anticlous, it's because the website won't let me change my display name back to Anticlous. If somebody could fix this for me, please do.

I am with WarpCode: The Big Lebowski is awesome.

In addition, here is an unsorted list of some of my favourites:
    • The Shawshank Redemption
    • The Godfather and The Godfather: Part II
    • 12 Angry Men
    • Pulp Fiction
    • The Matrix
    • Goodfellas
    • Casino
    • American History X
    • Citizen Kane
    • Secondhand Lions
    • There Will Be Blood
    • Full Metal Jacket
Though the list does not show it, I am also a huge fan of science-fiction, fantasy, action, and horror movies. However, specific titles do not tend to stick with me as things I like to watch again. Every title on this list I have seen at least three times, and some many, many more.

    The Green Mile
    LOTR: Return of the King

Ok, I'll play. I haven't read through the thread yet so I haven't been influenced by other people's choices.

I am a total movie buff. I have tons of old VHS, DVDs and now I have had to start collecting Blu-Ray (not even sure if I am spelling that right). ;)

So in no particular order, here is a list of some of my all time favorite movies:

    Dark City
    12 Monkeys
    The Big Leobowski
    Boondock Saints
    The Prophecy (1,2 & 3)

There are so many more but I don't have time to sit and think about it today. I'm sure when I read the thread, I'll be reminded of more. But these are the ones in my collection I have watched repeatedly over the years.
