My business partner and I created a game on Facebook (that is no longer live) as a personal challenge.

In the beginning we used Google for almost everything. Hosting, docs, API, communication, chat, etc.

The dude I worked with managed to tie the Google spreadsheet directly to our database so when I made a change to something in there and we pushed a build, it worked.

Google is amazing. They're open source about damn near everything too. It doesn't hurt that Google is rated one of the best companies to work for in the known universe.

    Damn.

    firefox, due to noscript.

If you guys, truly knew the terrors that lurked on the internets, you would be using firefox with noscript too.

Mix of Firefox and Chrome. I get tired of one and switch to the other. Back and forth every 6 months or so.

    +1

I have heard good things about the upcoming Opera browser though.

Firefox is really slow, a resource hog and has more security holes in it than a jail cell with the key hanging up right beside the door. With Google Chrome, you don't need extensions like NoScript. Each window of Google Chrome, and every single tab you open within that window, has a separate process in Windows, each process is Sandboxed.

Whether it's a crash, malicious code or a virus, Google Chrome alerts you and kills the process - leaving all your other windows and tabs perfectly stable.

I would swear by Google Chrome, I used to get spyware and viruses all the time back in the day of Firefox and IE on XP, then Chrome came out and I've never had one since, I don't even have a virus scanning program now - Chrome works seamlessly with Windows Firewall Rules that I never need to worry about it.
