Default Where do you find your Android content?

I recently got an Android phone and have to admit I love it. I am taking a masters in computer science so tinkering with the phone is so much fun Due to the huge amount of freedom and customization though, I feel a bit overwhelmed. Which makes me want to ask if someone knows good sites to find wallpapers, styles, applications and such. If you don't know sites you can always just post your own, or your favorite stuff. I am aware of the official stuff though like Market, and the HUB to get wallpapers and applications.

Here's a few sites that might be of interest to you:

    http://www.appbrain.com/ (for apps)
    http://android.modaco.com/ (custom ROMs)
    http://androidforums.com/ (general discussion)

Some of the apps i use is

    tunewiki (for mp3's)
    mini info (battery/sdcard/memory widget)
barcode scanner (handy for d/l apps - point scanner at qr code on monitor and you get it)
    xscope lite (browser)
3g watchdog (so i don't go over my cap)
    astro file manager (guess?)
extended controls bar (customisable widget for wifi, 3g, bluetooth etc)
some others i can't remember heh

Speaking of Android. Has anyone got that star map app? The one that lets you point your camera at the night sky and it'll tell you what constellations/planets you're looking at? I want that thing!

I use Google Sky on my Android, dunno if its the best or not but it seems fairly accurate.

The little barcode thingy is on that page to snag it with.

Thanks for the AppBrain link I really liked that website. I downloaded some images to the SD card under where the camera photos usually are only to find out they were not found. Which makes me wonder if I have to put them in some special location. I did a search and quickly realised adding wallpapers from external/custom sources was not that easy. I will have to have a look at it later tonight

The iPhone is pretty easy. You can have it sync pictures to a folder on your PC when you link it. Not sure if Droids work the same or not. After that you can either drop pictures straight into there from the PC (which may be 'safer' in terms of bandwidth use if you aren't on WiFi), or you can click on them directly while on your phone and save them onto the phone. (I've never done it that way, probably because I modify all my pics to the correct size / rez before dropping them into the folder. ;) )
