this is a link to a post by an EA dev who was workingo n EA's new TOR MMO. really shows how bad a company cna get out of touch with the gamers they are trying to sell to.

Luckily I dont see that happening with our Rift devs.. Long live RIFT.
And Shepard's we shall be for thee my lord for thee, power hath descendant forth from thy hand, may our feet swiftly carry on thy command, so we shall flow a river forth to thee, and teeming with souls shall it ever be

In nomeni Patri et Filii et Spiritus Sancti.

Unfortunately I feel the same way. I am getting so tired of being disappointed, and my-oh-my have I ever been disappointed lately.

Wow. I knew things were bad with Warhammer and felt that EA buying Mythic would spell the end. Just like Vivendi killed the Tribes francise.

I don't think its the last hope but to me it will be a sign of an end of an era.

MMO's will have evolved to simplistic, mediocre form of entertainment with as little replay-ability as a console game.

Very interesting Rant, from the anon Louse.

EA slogan "it's Not in The Game!!"

That rambles through my head. whenver viewing the EA logo.

Sounds even worse than some of the stories about when Vanguard was in development.

rofl, so you decide to take a disgruntled worker at their word. You should know better than that.

Btw, the fear mongering that goes on about MMO's is as bad as the fear mongering in politics.

    Three words... knock it off.

I think we should just take the warning labels off of everything and let evolution do it's work. Weed out the stupid people.
