    Default Last post about my computer building hopefully! :-p

    Alright heres the components i'm looking at and the price will be listed below just would like to hear comments about if you guys think its a pretty good deal for what i'm getting:

    Antec nine hundred case
    i7 870 2.93GHz with 8MB of L3 cache - overclocked to 3.6GHz
    Scythe Mugen 2 Revision B heatsink
    Gigabyte P55A-UD4 motherboard
    EVGA GTX 470 with 1.28GB's of GDDR5 memory
    8GB of high performance Gskill memory DDR3-2200, PC3
    1.5TB Seagate Barracuda 7200.11
    Cooler Master GX 750W power supply
    scythe fan controller
    Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit

    Don't forget to register you eVGA card. the EVGA 012-P3-1470-AR are limited lifetime warranty once registered. If you went to newegg, that's probably the model you'll get. And imo, Home Premium is more than enough for everybody's use.

    Looks to be a great system, but if I was to change anything I would change the case and MB. The Antec case is a little dated and you can get the Cooler Master 932 for the same price and it's a much better case. MB wise I like EVGA over Gigabyte and unless you need the legacy ide and floppy ports, 4 less on board usb ports, the EVGA P55 FTW is a better board and will match well with your EVGA GTX 470.

    Just my 2 cents

    God I wish I lived in the US when buying computer parts..
    I put the same list together, but at a swedish store, and ended up at $2030...

    Unfair!
