    Default YouTube to make Copyright changes to Gameplay

    It seems starting next year, January in fact, YouTube will be enforcing a policy that when you monetize your uploaded Game footage video, YouTube will have to "approve" it.

    No idea how this will affect you if you have a Rift: Play series or channel, now i don't normally see the fascination with "popular" YouTubers but for once this guy. Francis, puts across the points:

    I wonder if it's just a co-incidence but didn't League of Legends change their streaming policy and now this happens.

    Not surprised, youtube coughs up a lot of money for gaming related videos and one way to cut it out is by targeting them with these so called violations which most likely don't come from the developers in the first place. Once marked with a violation, they dont have to pay.

    I have millions of view on YouTube but never monitized due to how I felt about it. No clue why they would put money into monitoring this nonsense.
