Seems that now Gearbox is developing it we may actually finally get to see the game that defined the term "Vaporware"

I used to play Duke Nukem with my son ~15 years ago on our 2-PC home network on Windows 95.

We played in different rooms, but by the sound effects coming from his PC I could tell where he was hiding.

I'd sneak up behind him and then yell "turn around". He'd turn around just in time to see a rocket launched at his face.

    Good times

Not my type of game^^, but it's weird that they use gamepads. Wasn't it a PC game.

Most likely this will be 360, ps3 and pc.

As an aside, you'd be surprised how many developers use pads on pc games. I know Gearbox used pads on the pc version of Borderlands all throughout its development.

Aye, its actually fairly common to use a gamepad, particularly a 360 one with PC's these days. a lot of new games come ready configured for use with the 360 pad.

In fact i tend to use a 360 controller plugged in to my pc for most games other than MMO or FPS. (i dont even own an xbox 360 too, bought the pad second hand just for pc games that need it)

I'll believe it when I'm looking at it on the store shelf.

And I was thinking DNF would permanently be the world's longest-running vaporware. I remember playing Duke Nukem 3D on the LAN at work 10 years ago against colleagues. I hope Jon St John is voicing DNF.

Can't believe they will actually get that game released after all these years, come to think of it... Are they absolutely sure they don't want to switch to CryEngine 3 or something?
