That is indeed very disconcerting.

SOPA creates a seriously imbalanced set of rules under which you can force people to be completely silenced by accusing them of violating IP. It's really bad.

Trion should not support it.

Yeah, its pretty darn wierd. I where puzzled like hell, when I stumpled upon it on a gaming site.

My acc have been cancled for several months (They keep adding gametime sigh..well reading this forum is quite entertaining though) So can't cancel account again, but if it was active - this would be a pretty good reason to do so.

SOPA is a threat to all, and everyone, who belives in free speach, and/or thoughts. Hell, it's a threat to the internet as a whole - So giving TRION, and the other muppets supporting it money, is as good as condoning it oneself!

I just cant fathom how a county, can let people at the age of 70+ (Dont know if its true, but heard up to 80+) rule/dictate upon somthing, that they dont understand, or even use... its arse backwards tbfh.

If that was sugested here in Denmark, the person would be laughed at, and thought a fool - propably slapped with a herring across the face, for opening their mouth with such a stupid idea.

I don't see why any MMORPG developer would support SOPA. Sure, the game can be pirated(which is bad), but you can't actually activate it or play it without a cd-key and subscription so whats the point?

I have been unable to find any corroboration for this. Lots of discussions about other companies, not one mentions Trion.
